And you know what kind of comedy they would make? Deadpan. The same as Leslie Nielsen.
Aren't Arnold already in a comedy movie?
@@JolynesSister yes. But i would like to see him in enough comedic or dramatic films in order to make people stop seeing him only as an action star.
Wrong DeNiro role... much better as Jack Walsh in Midnight Run
do top 10 movie actors that are most known for their TV roles like..
steve carrel - the office
will smith - fresh prince of bel air
john goodman - rosaenne
ron howerd - the andy griffin show/ happy days
rob riner - all in the family
jennifer anaston - friends
charlie sheen - 2 and a half men
What about Leonardo Dicaprio in the wolf of Wall Street?
if you think that is a comedy then there is no hope for the world
Jeff Bridges also played a comedic role in Escanaba in Da Moonlight but its a much less known film
And Rancho Deluxe
joe pesci was in home alone and hi is pretty serious actor
Pesci was also the sidekick of Rodney Dangerfield in Easy Money.
...and Leo Getz in Lethal Weapon 2, 3 & 4.
He's a funny guy
Arnold Schwartzenagger as John Kimble - Kindergarten Cop,
Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya - The Princess Bride,
Ryan Gosling as Jacob - Crazy, Stupid, Love,
Kate Winslet as Iris - The Holiday,
Al Pacino as himself - Jack and Jill,
Stanley Tucci as Nigel - The Devil Wears Prada,
Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordon Belfort - The Wolf of Wall Street,
Jackie Chan as Lee - Rush Hour,
Daniel Craig as Joe Bang - Logan Lucky.
I would add Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid Love, James Caan in Elf, Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black, Alan Rickman in Galaxy Quest, Sam Rockwell in Way Way Back, Charles Grodin in Midnight Run, Kate Winslet Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind, Ewan McGregor Trainspotting, Hugo Weaving The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Christian Bale in American Hustle, Joaquin Phoenix in Inherent Vice, Johnny Depp in Ed Wood and Mandy Patinkin in the Princess Bride. All come to mind. As for DeNiro he's done a number of comedies starting in the King of Comedy with Jerry Lewis. So, Analyze This wasn't his first time doing comedy.
I love the dream sequence, really ties the movie together.
Where is Jason Statham from Spy??,
I've had a very rough and depressing day. "Hit the pillow" made me actually laugh out loud!
Robert De Niro, Midnight Run
Notgiven Notgiven Yes!
this was a great list
Matt Damon in The Martian
ayy lmao
Brian Cox in Super Troopers. Never would've expected that man to be so impressive in comedy. Liam Neeson in Life's Too Short, not a movie but quite possibly the funniest comedic performance by a dramatic actor ever.
+chendaddy Brian Cox in Rushmore
RustyX2010 Damn. You right. Rushmore 1998, Super Troopers 2001. Still funny as hell.
lol
What about Jason Statham in Spy (2015)?
+Quinton Reddick Lunchlady LOL!
It's only a matter of time when Watchmojo makes a list of Top 10 Dramatic Roles by Comedic Actors
That is it, I am finally gonna watch Tropic Thunder!
Now I want to see both Tropic Thunder and The Great Budapest Hotel.
Tropic Thunder is hilarious! I own the DVD and I've watched it at least 5 or 6 times over the years. Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black etc. they are all great!
Robert Downey Jr. is another serious actor who is super funny in Tropic Thunder. Very underrated comedy
I see you didn't hear about "In Bruges" for both Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes...
Where the fuck is kevin kline in a fish called wanda!?!?
+liath611 Dont call me stupid. :)
Thank you!
A Fish Called Wanda is totally underrated.
Does anyone remember the MTV award show that Cruise hosted as Les Grossman? HILARIOUS
"That's a Coen brothers movie? I'll have to watch it"
*sees spoiler
"Well wtf!"
Same story here bro, such a shame...i felt tricked
Thank you! Couldn't have worded it better myself
Same! I never knew much about the movie and was just starting to get intrigued when they showed that massive spoiler.
For De Niro, I would've gone with "Meet the parents". I mean, seriously: "I have nipples. Can you milk me?" is the best line ever in the history of comedies :P
