Disagree. He's not someone I'd jump to hang out with personally but he is certainly extremely effective. His candor gets people to answer openly. He often has the ability to get the interviewees to clarify their comments and if you pay attention, he gets LO to even admit a couple times when he may have "embellished" a bit. This is the most genuine interview I’ve seen. He held his own and owned up to everything in his life. You can see the genuine and honesty in his eyes. He’s really happy to have his life back. Good for him.

I can't say that I've ever watched an interview like this that just felt like it was a real conversation. It looked to me that Kevin seriously felt hurt to read in the book that he would ever attempt to bribe someone for some access or interview time, "with fried chicken" and used this time with LO to bring it up on the record. You could tell Kev genuinely wanted to know why that would have been said about him. It seemed to me that LO didn't remember saying that at all so I think it was a good moment.

He often has the ability to get the interviewees to clarify their comments and if you pay attention, he gets LO to even admit a couple times when he may have "embellished" a bit.
