I have found my favourite genre of music... Late 60s - early 70s hard rock, particularly those with psychedelic or progressive influences which were associated with the early heavy metal movement.
Always adored 70's hard music. Talking about early Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, King Crimson etc. Iron Claw was a shock for me, when heard them!
this is one of the lost pioneers of heavy metal, forgotten by many and unknown by others; left in the past but their contribution to "the heavy metal sound" was great, they helped to cement the sound of the beast.
Hello Alex, it's been many years since i've seen a post from you. I was once a regular on Hellride Records as was Monster Records. Anyway you cleared up info we heard or didn't know about. With all the bands I love from the 70's that sound like Sabbath influences I wish they would never have made ya'll cease & desist. I'm glad ya'll got some sort of recognition. this is the link to that post. you informing us of ya'll story. www.hellridemusic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5037&page=2
@Alex Wilson Might I suggest that if you have the master tapes to spend some money to remaster them to get much better sound quality? Then re-issue the album. This music is really popular now and I think there would be a lot of interest in it.
+LED1512 , yeah, maybe. both bands started in 69. iron claw formed after seeing led zepplin in concert. i read they may had heard earth/sabbath playing in a club and decided to go with that sound. i also read they never heard sabbath and developed their sound from bands like blue cheer & pentagram, etc.. being from scottland either case could be true.
+SCARDOG BONES The founding member of this band, Alex Wilson, recorded the earliest known live bootleg of Black Sabbath in Scotland in 1969. You can find it on YT, it's pretty cool
+SCARDOG BONES budgie also says they never head sabbath, i think they just trying to tell everyone they weren't influenced by sabbath because they know they had parts sounding eerily similar lol.. just my thoughts.. how could budgie have not heard sabbath, they were on the same label
Iconoclasm ATX All of those bands seen and heard Sabbath. Same as Sabbath were in awe of Zep. I realize now how lucky i was to see Sabbath/PagePlant/Bowie/Stones/Who/Dylan in the 90's/2000. I'm blessed.
Rip Michel sheemed to love listening to this guys I do so to... Sometimes still wish had some green stuff around to light up my smoke... Just heard that my nephew doesn’t wanna have anything to do with me anymore well fuck my family just buried myself in my music.... Nice when everything goes wrong they let you fall like a brick... Remember me to keep the door shut for them... Pop another pill in an our or so see that I spend the night in pure oblivion...
Blood Ceremony brought me here with a great cover of "Loving You". This is some really amazing stuff in my opinion. It's exciting when you find a new band that rocks this hard!!!!!
I love this stuff. Still, I make fun of people who go out of their way to be like, 'Oh, I prefer [insert obscure 70s band they found on the internet]'... Oh, You mean "Hipster Sabbath"! I knew a lot of record collectors in the 1990s who loved this early 70s post-psych/pre-metal stuff. Lots of Germans and Dutch, for whatever reason.
Thank you for posting this album in its entirety. This is some amazing proto-metal...great riffs & melodies. You can hear their influence on bands like Black Sabbath (the bassist played on Sabbath's first recording, in fact).
These two albums are bootleg releases, their music got stolen and guess what got released without permission. They got back together and released an album titled A different game in 2011...they have split again

Great way to start my morning!
I have found my favourite genre of music... Late 60s - early 70s hard rock, particularly those with psychedelic or progressive influences which were associated with the early heavy metal movement.
Me to, bro +++ early Blue Cheer, BS, Stooges, early Grand Funk, Hendrix Exp, Truth And Janey and bands, like Iron Claw - it's orgasm to my ears;)
Welcome to the club. It’s a good place.
Always adored 70's hard music. Talking about early Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, King Crimson etc. Iron Claw was a shock for me, when heard them!
Absolutely, couldn't of said it better myself.
LOOK ON MY PLAYLIST
this is one of the lost pioneers of heavy metal, forgotten by many and unknown by others; left in the past but their contribution to "the heavy metal sound" was great, they helped to cement the sound of the beast.
Thanks folks, glad you like the old stuff!
This is awesome!
Old is Gold!! Greetings from Brazil.

These guys heard Sabbath and said, 'lets do that.'
Brilliant results in retrospect. Very nice.

+LED1512 Yes you are, so were those who grew up in the 60's or 70's. Now I realize that I was born 30 years late, dammit that's unfair
Sounds a little bit like a more mellow version of Pentagram. Good stuff
100% stumbled upon this by accident...and I'm glad I did. Talk about jams. DAMN. Whoever uploaded this, thank you!

No los conocía, muy buenos.
this is the best album to go out drunk on!
Rock Band Blues riff is similar to Black Sabbath's Country Girl. Iron Claw comes first!

The record is somehow on overdrive, like recorded with the volume in the red.
Thank you for posting this album in its entirety. This is some amazing proto-metal...great riffs & melodies. You can hear their influence on bands like Black Sabbath (the bassist played on Sabbath's first recording, in fact).
sabbath pre-dated this release man. The band was actually formed after one of the guys saw sabbath in concert
Utter nonsense.
@@patrickmohan2220 Right ? It's good but it's a total Sabbath knock off ..
Great band

I bet the album comes with a Weight Advisory sticker on it----because it's THAT heavy
Normal que el manager de Black Sabbath denunciara a este grupo, podrian haberlos dejado en ridiculo
