This set could have been so amazing, if only lego would have put a little of effort into it. So disappointing.i still have a Walkman that works. I have even showen my grandson how to make a mix tape off the radio. He likes to listen to his tape on my Walkman. He says it so cool like stranger things.

It's fun to see content about Lego Insider rewards I didn't even know existed. Great video, now I have to go see what rewards Lego Insider is offering now, Lol.
They've had some decent stuff. Just avoid this one.

I've never seen anyone get so frustrated with Legos.
Personally, I liked it, I had about 1,500 points that were going to expire at the end of the month, I’ve already got most of the other insiders-points-exclusive models, and this one was nice and short and sweet _(calm before the storm I guess… Titanic arrived with it, and that’s colossal)_
I like how you can open the cover and put the cassette inside it, eject _(well, kinda…)_ the cassette with that button, and also plug in the headphones (and rotate the volume button), just small little interactive bits add a lot to something like this
Edit: wait, the set I’ve got has a set number of 6471611, not 6471612? Eh?

From the Lego insiders T&C: “All Points will expire after 18 months of Loyalty Programme inactivity.”
The last time I bought anything from the Lego website through my account was in July 2022, my dad’s been rediscovering Lego recently so I haven’t really had much chance to get new stuff until now…

I almost wasted my insider points on this set but it just didn’t look like good vfm so I passed on it. Having seen your review I’m relieved I didn’t pick one up. Definitely one to avoid sadly.
Oh man what a let down. It would of been cool to have it eject the cassette. Maybe you can find a way to modify it. I spent my hard earned points on it as well. I may just keep it in the box now. I'm glad you gave us your honest review of it. Keep up the amazing content buddy. 👍👍
Yeah I would keep it as an investment. You might be able to sell it for a decent price down the line.

I really dislike how Lego has started to throw every set into these yellow boxes with not even a front cover. It makes it feel a lot less special. Lego bricks are always good to get but I cant help but think this is the equivalent of them just providing instructions for 50 insiders points and you pick the pieces manually in pick a brick. I guess they save you a bit of hassle. That being said I think in my country 2500 insiders points is 15€, and this cost 2400 points, so the price isn't that bad I guess.
Thanks for the review. I was thinking of getting this one, but I don't think I will unless it's still in stock the next time I buy something big. I got the castle one though, but the piece count on that is so small. I thought it would have some details inside too since it opens up, but there's nothing. The micro figs are cool though.

Kind of disappointing that they didn't make a version of this that the Tape from the Infinity Saga Groot set fits in to. That would have been cool. I guess Sony being Sony, they probably got too greedy about the licencing and patents.

I felt slightly underwhelmed when I got the grey castle, but I do like it and the nanofigs are really cool.
Also it’s nice because it’s so easy to continue to add on to your micro castle.

I also wasn’t too impressed with this one. I probably wouldn’t have got it if I could have seen one in person before I ordered one. It jumped up a point or two when I modded it by extending the top part of the headphones so I could put them around my Upscaled minifigure’s neck, he looks decent with them on and the Walkman sitting in his lap
That’s a cool idea. These definitely work on display, I just expected more for the cost.
Wow that's an awesome idea I hadn't thought about. They should've marketed this with the upscaled figure. But probably still not gonna buy it, I could make my own if I feel like it.
I got it for my sister. I don't really care about the cost because lego is literally throwing points at me

In all honesty, $20usd in Insider points for a set that doesn't come with a minifigure is not worth it. Like you said, they are trying to prey of peoples FOMO by making it an exclusive Insiders memeber only set.

Someone needs to make a creators version of this. This needs to be bigger too, way to small. Should be able to eject the cassette... real shame with this from lego :(
