Great Video. Love the Uni as they were built 1/2 hr from Me. Glad to see people like yourself still using them . You dont see picking corn around here to much any more.
Great job.... please tell me one thing what do u do after picking corn in that field.how to manage straw.how to cultivate land with straw......next crop planting technique....may I get this machine in India
thanks and I don't pick any corn stalks we put corn stalk back in soil good for organic matter for soil and in spring time we use heavy 26 inches blade disk for planting soybeans once tillage and hold moisture in dry land.
so you she'll the the corn coming out of the corn cribs I know a guy that shells all his corn and come back through and round bails the stalks and burns them up in the winter for heat
Must be the JD stripper head , Back in the day we had 75 or 76 Uni 705 with the 727 hulking bed & a 730 wide row shaping head, We never had that much trash in our ear corn, after the cribs were full we put the 729 A shelter on to finish up, also had a 767 super chopper, besides our own we did a boat load of work for the neighbors also.
I remember when they used to take fields out on a pattern of six rows taken six rows left to dry to let air into the field. Will the greenies send farmers back to field drying?
Interesting you had me there for awhile, we have snow and cold in Iowa today; now back the week before x-mass we had nice weather too. That a big field we have big fields here in Iowa. My son friend he went to school with his four generation family farm they have 7 fields and each field is 725 inches...no just joking they are 725 acres per field. They rotate corn and soy beans every year. This city boy learning I use to think they spelled farm---eieio.

Family has a Uni. It’s orange though. They chop corn with it and combine beans.
cool
Curious, why do you pick it instead of combining it?
to have the cobs for heat
