I’m guessing, since he only lists his business email and not any PO Box or other address publicly on his channels, that’s how they contact him. I imagine if people have public PO Boxes, they get more unsolicited books, and not having that helps him to filter through what people want to send, and get around the problem of him being a jet-setter.

Jack, would you consider making a video about if you were the teacher for different English classes? Like what are the most important books of our time for teens to read?
I would love a series of "find your favorite book prize" videos. Doesn't have to be the current year, it could be a survey of past year's long or shortlist and winners.
Off topic but how are your writing classes going? It would be really interesting if you made a video explaining how creative writing school works, what kinds of exercises you guys do, how you think it's changed your perspective when writing, etc
the escape artist was obviously heartbreaking given the subject matter but also incredible. i would recommend listening to the audiobook for anyone who doesn’t have a physical copy which is expertly narrated by the author himself. a must read for anyone who wants to learn more about the escapees trying to warn the world about what the nazis were doing which sadly fell on empty ears for a while. we often hear about life in the camps but not the aftermath. my first 5 star read of the year.
Wow. Thanks for this! Literally, so many I’m keen to find out more and pick up. Move over, Booker Prize…the Rathbone Folio Prize books sound amazing 😊 📚
I really like that Scary Monsters cover. She's an Australian author and I tried to listen to the audiobook, which wasn't doing it for me at the time, I might need to read it from the page. Loved, loved, loved the audiobook of Lucy by the Sea. Interesting about Pure Colour. Oh Glory, I have that out from the library ala Women's Prize longlist, it's my second attempt, sigh. The nonfiction also sounds interesting, as does the poetry. Happy Reading
Hi Jack! Love your recs. Thought I’d bring to your attention an old author that I’ve been obsessed with and I think you’ll really enjoy: sarah monette. She wrote two fantasy series and some short stories and sort of disappeared after 2010s… I think you’ll really enjoy her books. She’s sort of a secret I’ve been keeping :)
I saw Zaffar Kunial read his poetry today at Lancaster Literature Festival and I am from Ings, which he writes a poem about in the collection “England’s Green”, and I love the whole collection, it is a five star poetry collection for me! Edit: other poets that spoke were: • Katie Hale, author of poetry collections, “My Name Is Monster” and the very freshly published poetry collection (which was literally published on Tuesday this week), “White Ghosts” • Stephanie Sy-Quia, author of “Amnion”, her first and only poetry collection at this time - though, what a first collection it is, taking nine years to write And then … • Sean O’Brien, who is a world renowned poet, who read from his most recent work that he wrote through the periods of journeying back into the social world post lockdown on the upcoming of his 70th birthday, “Embark” So good !!
Hi Jack. Big fan of what you do. You're officially THE booktube channel for me. I've come be more experimental with what I read because of all the books you recommend and I'm loving it. Video Idea: A day / week of reading Palestinian authors. I really would like to hear your take on whats going on in Palestine and the pain that has shaped their world & literature.
jack please read my comment, I would like to know your opinion on this book called "the rainbow troops" pleaseee. It's written by an Indonesian author andrea hirata
Most women write about victimhood and romance. It’s rare to find books like Hamnet or Piranesi these days. In fact The Woman’s Fiction Prize throws up fantastic novels.
I love the idea of just being sent a bunch of books. My dream honestly
I'm more wondering how these companies/awards know where to send Jack these books, considering he moves like every other week
I have a feeling Jack has finally reached the 1000 book collection (library). A dream 😮💨💕

You're going to dry out that book only for it to soak up your tears.

Either Christmas came 3 months late or 9 months early for Jack upon receiving this consignment of books.
your videos literally destroy all of my reading slumps

Just wanted to say I love Folio Society, they're definitely my dream editions for books.
