He won the Swedish Idol show. Granted, it's a small country, but he didn't exactly come out of nowhere to sing in america.
Yeah but like a very small population. The only famous Swede I know of is Alexander Skarsgard. I'm sure to get some kind of deal or big enough fan base he had to come to America with like, 370 million more people though. Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass though lol.

Å (like in my name Åsa), Ä (like in Kläfford) and Ö (like in the name Björn, for instance). The letter Å is pronounced similar to how "Au" is pronounced in the worlds "Austin" or "Australia". The letter Å is pronounced similar to how "ai" in the word "air" (without the r). And the letter Ö is pronounced similar like the letter "ea" in words like "learn", or "u" in words like "burn".
So Kläfford is pronounced similar to how you would pronounce the beginning of the name Claire (but without the r), so like "Claifford". Hope that helped.
