I'm probably supposed to know how to save it in order for the glow part to happen, but I don't and was hoping that was included in the video, but it isn't, so could I get some help on that part, please?

Man, I've spent more than an hour to complete the tutorial, but at the end it is not shown how to get the final result! How to save the project so to make it work? In the video it is not shown. I am not the only one who've asked this question in this comments. Very disappointing! However the tutorial is greatly presented, every step is clear, but appears to be useless.

I dont have the "select and mask" option. Can you kindly explain the reason?
Are you perhaps using an older version of Photoshop? Pre-CC?
Why not use some blur to soften those circular glow lines?

It keep blurring the back and none of the selections are on.
I dont have those settings on my Adobe...
Click window in the top menu, then click adjustment layers. They should be in there
