What a great idea! I had been looking into Arduino for this project but this changes everything. I'll be putting an unused X-TOUCH MINI on the chopping block. Thanks!!
I didn't know NUX MG300, but it looks cool! If the "Quick Tone" MG300's PC Editor Software accepts MIDI , maybe it work. Can't work nanoKontrol2 and MG300 directly.
amazing!!! I have a doubt, it works like a pedalboard right? you use it for looping, but if i want to make an fx chain using the 24 possible switches Reverb, delay, distortion, chorus, overdrive, etc... whatever u want And asign each effect to each switch to turn on/off like a pedalboard, except this is only a midi controller and the effects come from your pc. It works? (using bias fx or guitar rig)
Will this work with Ableton Live Looper? Do you have any more instructions on the soldering? Great project! So clever, especially for people like me who are taken aback by programming Arduino.
Thanks! You've got a point there. I probably would have used an Arduino or RaspberryPi if I had to start from parts collection… This time, I made a foot switch as a way to use a controller that I no longer use.
@@-ameningen1189 I'm sorry so many comments are ignorant and have not read your description and additional foot notes. Most questions/comments I have seen so far have been addressed in advance in you description etc. As well, I understand the culture and I know it is not malicious, but for me it's discouraging and takes the wind out of the sail. In my modest opinion: What you have done here is exceptionally resourceful and clever. And that your share it to those interested to get ideas from or to copy altogether is generous of your time. I hope you know this and continue following your heart and mind. You are the spirit of freedom and artistic creativity. My only critique is because I am a big guy. I would crush that box and for me I would buy a blank project box and that would crush the budget. If only I had a welder and etc ... Thanks for sharing. For me, it was entertaining to watch, and then there is that. The value alone in entertainment. Well done 👍🏼

Hi there, cool video and idea.
Do you need to have the nanokontrol app always open to run this pedal?
Love these type of projects. Nicely done
Could use one of the fader for an expression pedal, right?
Wow, u are so clever, I didnt thought that before, thaks for sharing.🙂👍🏻
will this work with multi effects like the NUX mg 300 ? or it's just for pc use.?
do you know the exact length and width of KORG PCB?
thanks for the great idea, im going to do this :)
very well done!
And how many foot switches are possible with this nanokontrol unit? Thanks!
As shown in the video at 00:24, at least 24 switches can be available.
Great work! Can you maybe give us a list of material?
The board at least or Footswitches
Thx a million in advance
can it play multiple effect like dist and chorus at same time???
Geniuos!
Genius!
Nice work man..
Is it works too for guitar FX processor pedals like Nux mg300?
I didn't know NUX MG300, but it looks cool!

Lol 😂 I didn’t see this coming, I have an old NanoKontrol ready to sell and why not.. haha, I’ll try this one.

yes it works in bias fx or neural dsp etc. just tell the software which button you want to do what

can i use it on nux mg300?
thanks
Nice DIY thank you Sir, just subscribe.
Is it possible to build like this a pedal for rc 505 to have foot control?
No, this is USB midi. You need pedals like Boss fs6 or similar.
clever!
nice work...but why did you kill working controller? Just use arduino board for 5$, put it inside your box and connect buttons.
Thanks! You've got a point there.

that is not a midi controller, you just can use it wich a pc or cell phone

una tarjeta capaz de hacer 16 pedales de expresion que desperdicio de tarjeta
Could this be used as an MIDI foot controller for live looping? I mean, are there any latency issues?
I don't feel any delay at live looping. Ask Korg for exact delay times.
Can you tell me where you bought foot switch?? Thanks!!
Thanks! I bought at aliexpress ( Like this www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001421591497.html ).
awesome.
An arduino would be 10x xheaper...
awesome.
