    THANK YOU for posting this! This stupid thing was making me crazy and the water filtration people never offered this info when I asked them about pushing our backflush to 4 am (when no one is using the system). You've improved my life. =)

      Even if you are the only person I ever help it’s the reason I made the video to help someone out!

    marvelous, thank you very much. My ''technician'' was not very convincing about which time my Fleck was regenerating. He told it takes 1 hour and a half to finish regeneration I can't believe it , I would like to know the real answer.

      Well hopefully you can check and verify now!

      @@pvctipsandtricks768 hi, my Filox tank with the Fleck 2510 is factory set at 1AM (I verified it as you show us, thanks), I have also a softener with a Fleck VC5600 which is factory set at 2AM. Do you know how many time doest it takes each regeneration? Thanks

      I wouldn’t know with that model! I would hope it’s similar but I would think the user manual would show you how to program the regen time.

      I found the manual for the 5600 head but there is nothing about how to change the regeneration starting time set on factory. I found in another place that the total regeneration time is 75 minutes. At least with it I can manage to set an appropriate start time for the two tanks if I suppose the regen time of the 2510 is one hour, I need to find that info to ensure both are not demanding water at the same time. @@pvctipsandtricks768

    Awesome video. Question, my center knob doesn't have a window in it that i can see the arrow. Would an option be to take off the center knob? Then do the regeneration time set procedure?

      You can try pressing down the red button to allow you to spin the wheel with the time of day and rotating the wheel around in the correct rotation as the normal hours of the day. Once you feel some resistance to rotate so what time of day the air is pointing to and that is the start of your regeneration time. For this to work you must have the pins pushed outward on the wheel that controls the day of the week you are on.

    How do I identify what model of Fleck that I have? I moved into my home a year ago and never had a water softener before?

      Look around for stickers or labels all over. I tried to put a photo of an example of a label that contained the model number in this response but it wouldn’t let me put in a picture. Look for 2850 or 2750 I think those would be the most likely models you would find in a home if it looks anything like the one in the video.

    Do i choose the time for date and generation?

    • @pvctipsandtricks768
      @pvctipsandtricks768  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, base it off of how many times a week you need to regenerate to keep the water soft. Once a week might be good for some locations others need more. Depends on how hard the incoming water is and your water usage.
