Let's first acknowledge that it is not easy for a filmmaker to take his/her films to a wider audience without the presence of a STAR either acting in it or backing it. We talk a lot about content, but let's just acknowledge the hypocrisy or unwillingness in audience. Hope pebbles breaks that
@@rohini8634 small films are also those films that don't get enough screens in theaters becuz theaters don't find value in them. So if any big star movie comes max screens are alloted to them, even if the content is not so good.If that has to change audience shd start watching small films
@@rohini8634 mark my words.. had this film not went to festivals and winning or get an Oscar nomination, it would not have found enough screens to play in India. So while ur intention is right, actual reality is very different.
Please add subtitles for the interviews with directors. It'll be of great use for other language movie goers.🙏

I honestly don't know why we bother sending films for the Oscars every year. We won't ever win it. It has nothing to do with the film itself. The film might be great but the global perception of Indian films is very poor. No academy member in their right mind will ever vote for us.
