I grew up down there and spent many nights by that creek. Now I'm 3,000 miles away, living in LA. They really cleaned it up nicely over the years, which is a big change from how neglected it was over 20 years ago.
Oh yea, I can only imagine! It seems like they’re still working on maintenance but it’s looking pretty good these days. Definitely still battling some homelessness, there’s some old camp sites around but for the most part it’s pretty clean now!
YO✌️I was trying to find Ur channel again after I watched one video but luckily U popped up in my algorithm..just hit the sub,I don't have a board yet but here for the scenery and spots U go to.its awesome thanx bruva..love that I get to see parts of the world I'd usually NeVer get to see 🫡🤙👊
Thanks so much for the support! Onewheel is pretty rad. I really enjoy riding and being part of the community is awesome. Everybody for the most part is pretty chill! Good luck on your journey and board selection. Whatever you choose, it’ll be a great time! 👊🏾
hello. I live in Korea. I'm about the same weight as you and I'm interested in One Wheel, so I'm asking a question. I am wondering if there is any problem when going up a hill with a slight incline on a normal road. Because my house is on a hill. Thank you for the great video!
Right on dude! I’m stoked on the fact that you’re thinking of picking up your first board! Which board are you looking at? If you’re similar to my size, I’d recommend the GT or the GTS. Both boards can carry me up hills. The GTS has a much easier time with inclines as the low end torque is much stronger. But the GT is also incredibly capable. I rode it about 2500 miles before I upgraded. If you can afford it, I’d go for the GTS. It’s just overall got a more stable and secure ride feel.
@@동모형 hey there’s nothing wrong with vesc. The challenge for you, regardless, is going to be support. But I think all of those companies are starting to improve their international support. If doing crypto was a bit more approachable I’d consider the ADV pro. It seems pretty powerful. But I’m not gonna lie, the GT is an insanely reliable board. It’s a monster and has that beefy battery pack to carry you long distances. The fungineers board is pretty sick too. I low key want those X10 rails… I have ridden those motors a few times and their low end torque is phenomenal. Only downfall I hear is wait time. Could be a couple of weeks or a couple of months before you receive products. I don’t think you have a wrong choice. Riding a onewheel is just a blast of a time. As long as you can get out there and enjoy the world around you, whatever you pick will be great! 🤙🏾
Ouch! Sorry to hear you took a fall. It happens to the best of us. Don’t let it deter you from trying again. Falls suck, but it comes with the territory. My best advice is, if you have access, start riding on a big lawn or open field. I started in my local park and got used to feeling the bumpy chunks. Off road riding will help your street riding and vice versa! It’s really important to get used to bending your knees. Your legs are your suspension so do your best to avoid riding with straight legs. Secondly, wear gear if you don’t have it yet. Helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards or gloves, and knee pads will all help alleviate some of the pain and damage done when falling. It feels lame but as somebody who has a good amount of road rash lol, the pads are worth it. Lastly, try and keep your arms and legs parallel to each other. If you have your arms perpendicular to your legs, you could very easily be pushed off balance. Keep those legs and arms aligned. Honestly the last piece of advice is just gonna be to ride more. Trust the board, it’s wicked powerful, and trust your instincts. You’ve got this. It just takes time and reps! Keep going and have fun! 👊🏾
I have a GT and can't bring myself to spend $2900 on GT-S. Are you ever going to try the EUC? with your size I think the Begode EX-30 would be perfect for you and myself lol.
I can understand that. The price point is steep! For me, the upgrade made sense. It was a timing thing for me. My GT was broken and out of warranty so I was going to have to spend some money anyway. lol that’s how I was looking at it at least. Great question man! I’m a bit intimidated by the EUC. I know it’s got better power and for a bigger dude it’s probably more optimal, but I very much enjoy riding sideways lol. I think if the opportunity presented itself I’d give it a try, but I’m not sure if I could make the switch. I love riding my onewheel. 🤙🏾

You are a beast on that one wheel. Didn’t even know this part existed in marine park
I appreciate it! 🙏🏾 The Salt Marsh is just past the main park. It’s on the backside of the nature observatory! Give it a rip, it’s mad fun!
Bro, keep the videos coming. I learn so much watching you ride. I think I may have to check out those slat marshes.
Definitely check it out, the trails are wicked fun! - Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate the support! 👊🏾

@@tswizzain Thank you for the explanation. I'm also looking at gt, adv2, and fungineers. But I think I have the highest chance of buying the GT.😀

Just got the pint s. Took a spill. Bandages. Any suggestions for a new rider struggling to stay on?

I’m still so surprised by how high you go on psi 🤯
It’s just what works for me! 🤷🏽♂️ I’m heavy lol so I need that air pressure.
@@tswizzain lol I hear you dude, but would argue that lower psi around 14-17 would be a whole new world of squishy goodness for you!
