I really enjoyed hearing your responses Pep and it made me think about what mine would be. I'd love this video theme to catch on, or for you to do another installment
@@TheScentinel Yeah I've noticed others saying the same 😁 It was really interesting and thought provoking. Some of my thoughts were similar to yours, and some completely different. 'Scrubbers' for example, well I've lost count 😂
Just because of that last topic, i have to say that the only reviewer/youtuber that i follow and watch almost every single video is you! I've said it before, it's hard to find honesty out there. Here I'm happy and really enjoy. Cheers 🍻
I used to douse myself with patchouli oil years ago and am actually glad that there are many perfumers finding interesting ways to work with it now. As for review channels, what I like about your channel is that it is conversational. So many reviewers talk so fast , rapid fire to get through the topic as quick as possible it becomes just noise and very annoying to the point I tune out. I like this conversational approach and your voice is very pleasant to listen to.
@angela35854 ah thank you so much for the kind words. Yes, I've accepted that my reach will unlikely ever be as crowd pleasing as the big channels, but I'm more than happy with my audience.

First and foremost, what's inside. Funny last question. Had a chuckle. I'm on a Reddit group. Colognes, or something like that. First I'm skeptical. There are floors in a building somewhere asking these questions. Second, shouldn't there be an age limit to forums? Hi I'm 12 and I bought a bottle of Aventus, what do you think? The one I am on is people uploading photos of their collection and asking what they should get next. I'm proactive/corrective on the thread. Which means nobody responds back, but when they do, I feel I've made a positive impact in the fragrance community.
Excellent viddy Pep, loved it! The last topic busted me up laughing so hard I shot wine out of my nose (which hurt like fuck by the way)... if you ever do another of these consider mining through the subreddit r/fragranceclones (a solid treasure trove of juicy topics ~ and even more bizarre comments).
@@TheScentinel it may help but not necessary as 90% of the posters there haven't even tried nor owned the OG perfumes they're trying to find clones of. Lots of bullshitters there but probably the most hysterical aspect is this: they cheap out on buying the OG perfumes but own so many shitty clones they could have purchased a very nice (albeit smaller) collection of quality sauces.
Redditors are a strange breed. The strength thing (people claiming perfumes last days and stay on after showers) is incredibly rare. I know Promise from Frederic Malle lasts like crazy on me and is hard to wash off, I can smell it the day after (after showering) but you have to smell it close up. I do think some stuff lasts way longer on clothing that's for sure. I have the opposite problem and seem to just absorb perfume normally.
I enjoy an evocative fragrance review. I love to be transported by perfume and if a review can help me understand a feeling, I’m intrigued! But I agree … listing off aroma chemicals does nothing for me. And if the review is too long. Dissertation level commentary is too much for me! 😉
I can confirm that being high (on weed) improves my enjoyment of music but decreases my ability to smell perfumes.
