I don't understand why actor/actress jump into marriage as soon as their drama ends without knowing each other better. They should at least date for a while till they know they will be able to spend their lifetime together overcoming their differences . Marriage is not a joke.
Lot of SK Celebrities have long dating periods like 3 years, 5 years even i know there's couple who still together after 8 years. This one is an exception and not to mention there's a Queen who always fall in love on set - Song Hye Kyo.
I and my husband eloped after a week knowing each other. Until this very day we're still together, and it's been 19 years. That means time is not a factor for separation. If you want your marriage to last, you have to love, honor and respect each other,regardless of the situation you are in. Problems will just come and go, face it with courage and positivity. And last but not the least, be faithful and never let your heart wander around. If temptation comes, avoid it and never entertain. Always think of your wonderful family that you might lose, in a moment of lust. Not every wife can tolerate, forgive, and forget infidelity.
I'm with you on that, however when I saw the newlywed show I already saw problems, and most because of her. Shes like a big a** baby. So I can see why he had therapy. While even on that show she told lies.

I think that she was the most mature, actually. She was thinking for the future. Such as starting a budget, and sitting down to understand the other even more. I really didn’t notice anything wrong, until I realized how the actor fell in love with her. He said he liked her ever since he saw her. Meaning, for her visuals. If you want credit for that, it’s on an interview, or perhaps if you search up their names together. They’re both in the wrong, but I’m defending her because you called her a baby. As one of my favorite people that have been in the kdrama field, I admired her for years for all that she’s done. She wanted a family, and comfortable home. From what he was doing, and saying, he isn’t ready for marriage nor a family yet. (edit:) The dishes? They were joking around. You can see them both laughing as she accuses him of cheating. But their personalities might not have worked together. And obviously their needs in life and what they wanted from each other were different.

Its easy for us to say that to keep everything private without assessing the whole situation..both parties are protecting their interests...it did get out of hand...as a viewer I accept it as it is ....I never criticize them for not keeping it privately ...it happens especially if both disagrees and do not see eye to eye. There are lot of factors to consider here...1) they are both public figures 2) they are both required to disclose those situation in their contracts (code of decency clause) 3) GHS lost confidence trust in her agency for siding with AJH 4) GHS have no active projects with her agency 5) GHS probably suffering depression and mental breakdown due to abandonment by AJH. 6) in their world image and branding matters so I'm not surprise that it is a he said she said battle...

I've seen the early episodes of their reality show. Ahn Jae Un was attentive to her and it looks like the girl is the more dominant figure. Although, that follows, since she's a lot older than him. But, from then, you can tell the marriage wouldn't last. It's just a matter of time. I appreciate both actors in their respective works. But, getting the sordid details of their divorce into the public is not a bright idea.

As anyone who's been married for over 25 yrs can tell you, it takes two to make the marriage work and it is work/ it doesn't just happen. It's a decision to accept the good and bad. It's forgiving and fighting fair and really communicating .

It isn’t just the husbands job to be responsible, it’s both the husbands and the wife’s. Besides, there’s a concerning amount of times where her “truths” were revealed as lies. Now this is the moment where they should just silence everything, it’s getting way too messy and all because one of them couldn’t keep their personal matters to themselves, if you really cared and loved a person, even though they hurt you, you’d still try to protect them in any way you can. And this is just harming not one of them but both of them. I wish them luck in dealing with this debacle but it’s honestly just concerning how messy it’s gotten.

Well guess what being married means you both try to work out your differences and see a marriage counselor or marriage therapist together! You work through the hard times. Being silent and depressed only causes the other person to feel isolated and alone. Is it no wonder Hye Sun’s behavior became irrational and suspicious? For every action there is a reaction. Due to Korean society being so judgmental towards divorced women I can see why she was trying to hold on to him. Her acting out in a public forum is the emotional pain she too has had to endure for the last 1-1/2 years due to his aloofness and indifference. This was quite evident if you look back at photos taken of Hye Sun during this time period. Depression caused her to gain weight and apparently he found this to be unattractive and not sexy. His comments along with a number of other video shots tends to contradict his own words. Hye Sun on the other hand for the past year have conducted interviews and she herself indicated that she had not communicated with her husband in awhile nor was he aware of what she was doing. For him to be celebrating his birthday with friends men and women with his wife no where in sight is definitely troublesome. His love and commitment to this marriage was certainly an illusion and public facade. Her “acting out” on social media is probably her way of venting her anger, betrayal, and frustration with having suffered through his indifference and neglect for the past year 1-1/2.

I feel so bad for the both of them. This could’ve been taken care of without public notice. Jae Hyun must be having the hardest time right now and it’s only getting worse. I'm not exactly a fan, but I have watched Ahn Jae yun through NJTTW and anyone could tell he's a gentle soul, so I can't help but make a comment. This was a simple case of insecurity, jealousy, and miscommunication, to the point that because the girl probably keeps on nagging, Ahn Jae Yun got fed up, was pushed to his limits, and lost whatever feelings he had from the get go. This, therefore, turned him cold towards the girl causing him to treat her text messages coldly, which by the way, are basically just part of the story, not the whole. Trust me, I see this happen every time in real life. She should have just been more mature as she is older and not ruin her husband's career, especially considering she's not that popular anymore,, or so I thought, since I don't see her in dramas anymore, so that tells a lot I guess.

He never help out with any chores, cooking, cleaning, groceries shopping... not a single thing because he was living with his parents with a Maid to do everything for him, so he never had to do any of these things. Despite living alone with my sister, he didn't change his way of live. After my sister gave birth... he would still go out every Sunday with friends rather than stay home & help my sister out. He has a tradition of having a soccer match with his college every Sunday and that hasn't changed... instead of being home with his wife & children, he always make his Sunday Soccer Game a priority. When he wants to get out drink with his friend, he would just shower, put on a clean shirt & left my sister a message not to wait up. Sometime he doesn't even get from until 3am to 4am. Some night, didn't even come home. And he never even call to check if his children fallen asleep yet or if my sister had dinner, and what she eat, what food... bad or good. My niece was married for 2-1/2 years when out of the blue her husband asked for a divorce. He half-heartedly went through counseling but ultimately did not want to work on it. They are both in their early 30’s. I just can’t believe how a lot of people now seem to think marriage is a temporary thing and not important enough to work on. It isn’t just these two young celebrities - it is happening all over. My only comment about Goo Hye Sun’s behavior is this: Why would she be so upset and suspicious unless he gave her a good reason? Feeling betrayed by a person who supposedly loves you causes these kind of strong feelings and uncharacteristic actions. I had the same thing happen to me with a boyfriend of many years and I was so furious I couldn’t see straight. This is just so sad.
I know that it's none of my business but I feel so sad every time my fave actors get divorced. I know that married life isn't easy but what is the point of rushing in the first place? I'm married my self and it's been 19 years ( and counting), got married when I was 19, there are tears, sweat but also laughter and love. You learn along the way what to do and what not. You don't force to have your way as you are not alone but "together" in a marriage. That lust that you had during dating changed into other kind of love but romance can be maintained, you just have to spice up a bit. In a marriage you have to have more tolerance and compromise, change your expectation. You can't change someone else except your self.

I hope we will be enlighten by the truth.”) As a woman I fully understand where her betrayal coming from. Being cheated by someone that really matters in your heart could drive you crazy. Well, I'm a woman as well and let me just say depression or mental break down is a thing. You see people doing things they didn't mean to do or thing that they do out of compulsive. If hyesun were to discuss this matter with her families, friends or even the agency, they would probably solve this in a more civilized matter. The divorce was just as much her fault as his and in all honesty should have been handled privately. She indirectly mentioned his ‘ co-star ‘ as who he was having an affair with ( which means that he was having an affair with the lead actress ) with no proof. This is definitely enough for the lead actress to sue her for defamation and she definitely should. No matter how hurt you are you should never destroy people’s lives like that. I don’t agree with everyone’s opinion regarding to privacy. Nowadays there is no privacy for celebrities. If read through most of the comments on here and I just wanted to point something out. Actually, there's a good example here in the U. S. with Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. They've been together for a decade, had their differences, separated for a while and went back together and got married in Dec. 2018. Now, he filed for a divorce after just 7 months. The difference is neither is blaming the other and wish the best for each other, but in this Korean relationship between AJH and GHS, there's a definite maturity issue here, or something else. If these actors and actresses can keep their dating a secret for years then why can't they keep their divorce, and any issues involved with it, to themselves instead of putting it out there for all to see, unless of course, they are being paid to do this. Well here is another idea...its just an idea as I was browsing the internet...you know the jang jang yeon scandal? I think this issue is a cover up for it considering the timing along with the seungri scandal recently it was decided by Korean courts which in my opinion covers up a bigger issue which could potentially hurt the whole Korean entertainment industry ...that scandal if scrutinize by the public have the tendency to hurt the whole Korean entertainment industry...prostitution abuse and corruption...makes me wanna think twice in supporting Korean dramas, k pop idols...imagine what they have to endure to land a project or have their debut... Chelsea Findley I agree with you because this divorce issue here should be done privately. Lawyers in Korea had reviewed what is going on with these couple and they said it is a strategy just like what happened to one of the Korean actors a that the woman had it through media so the court even sided with the woman. Infidelity is not acceptable in Korea culture that family members also meddle with couples marriage. The Luxury flat that in has in Seoul is actually his own and he bought it before he got married to her, therefore by Law she cannot demand that he gives it to her as payment for humiliating her by asking her for divorce. Yes, I agree. But I also agree that GHS, right now not in a good side. From some Korean news, her agency, which is AJH agency blame everything on GHS. And she can't get protected by Agency to explain divorce matters like SHK and SJK. Because she know she will put in more bad position with bad statement of agency (she could lost an image in Korea, and can't get a job, Korean people have a big concern that all actors, actress or Idol should remain pure image), she choose that way by reveal it to public. I did watch the show. Awhile after I had watched blood. I loved both of the actors, so when I watched the newlywed show I was excited to see more. I think that she was the most mature, actually. She was thinking for the future. Such as starting a budget, and sitting down to understand the other even more. I really didn’t notice anything wrong, until I realized how the actor fell in love with her. He said he liked her ever since he saw her. Meaning, for her visuals. If you want credit for that, it’s on an interview, or perhaps if you search up their names together. They’re both in the wrong, but I’m defending her because you called her a baby. As one of my favorite people that have been in the kdrama field, I admired her for years for all that she’s done. She wanted a family, and comfortable home. From what he was doing, and saying, he isn’t ready for marriage nor a family yet.

Humorously, through an analogy, the Upanishad says that the wife aspect ran away to escape the husband aspect coming in contact with it since an attempt at such a contact looked meaningless and also abortive. The Upanishad goes further and says that the bi-polar wholeness reduces itself to lesser and lesser “wholes,” from gods in heaven down through humans, animals, plants and trees and even the lowest of creatures like insects, thus making out that this dual pull is present everywhere in creation from the highest to the lowest of created elements. At the human level this principle of bi-polar existence takes an interesting turn, since in the human being there is an element of the instincts of the lower species and at the same time a reason which reflects the characteristics of transcendental existence. The one to cast the first stone in public wanted to cause the most pain and suffering but in essence, all you ever do is end up hurting yourself. Both of them need lessons in being adults.
Its easy for us to say that to keep everything private without assessing the whole situation..both parties are protecting their interests...it did get out of hand...as a viewer I accept it as it is ....I never criticize them for not keeping it privately ...it happens especially if both disagrees and do not see eye to eye. I'm not exactly a fan, but I have watched Ahn Jae yun through NJTTW and anyone could tell he's a gentle soul, so I can't help but make a comment. This was a simple case of insecurity, jealousy, and miscommunication, to the point that because the girl probably keeps on nagging, Ahn Jae Yun got fed up, was pushed to his limits, and lost whatever feelings he had from the get go. This, therefore, turned him cold towards the girl causing him to treat her text messages coldly, which by the way, are basically just part of the story, not the whole. Trust me, I see this happen every time in real life. They living here just like us, facing the same problem that most of us do. If you asked a friendly question to a psychiatrist, they would smile & say "every couple is unique, every couple is different". Prior to this, GHS never did anything like this, no narcissistic comments, no bad mouthing anyone... She probably the most peaceful actress I've seen. Take a good look at other actress, they having beef with people around the clock... fights with this, fights with that... nonestop bullshit on IG & FB. But GHS, never showed that... because probably never have that side to her. She in spotlight for so long... If she have a dark side, it would be hard to hide.

And I do not know AJH but I knows lot of guy that similar in this situations. They fell in love, they want to get married but after marriage, they won't change themselves & recompose as Married Man. They still want to all the things they get to do when they were single... and when their wives try to put some senses into them, she become "The Control Freak".
Take my sister for example. Very similar to this case. The guy chase her for a year before she gives in and decide to marry him. After marriage, he has not change any of his Single-life activities. He never help out with any chores, cooking, cleaning, groceries shopping... not a single thing because he was living with his parents with a Maid to do everything for him, so he never had to do any of these things. Despite living alone with my sister, he didn't change his way of live.
After my sister gave birth... he would still go out every Sunday with friends rather than stay home & help my sister out. He has a tradition of having a soccer match with his college every Sunday and that hasn't changed... instead of being home with his wife & children, he always make his Sunday Soccer Game a priority.
When he wants to get out drink with his friend, he would just shower, put on a clean shirt & left my sister a message not to wait up. Sometime he doesn't even get from until 3am to 4am. Some night, didn't even come home. And he never even call to check if his children fallen asleep yet or if my sister had dinner, and what she eat, what food... bad or good. Nope, never check & never bother.
He sees nothing bad of his behaviors because it was the way he lives for past 30 years. My sister on the hands, cries nearly every nights.

My niece was married for 2-1/2 years when out of the blue her husband asked for a divorce. He half-heartedly went through counseling but ultimately did not want to work on it. They are both in their early 30’s. I just can’t believe how a lot of people now seem to think marriage is a temporary thing and not important enough to work on. It isn’t just these two young celebrities - it is happening all over. My only comment about Goo Hye Sun’s behavior is this: Why would she be so upset and suspicious unless he gave her a good reason? Feeling betrayed by a person who supposedly loves you causes these kind of strong feelings and uncharacteristic actions. I had the same thing happen to me with a boyfriend of many years and I was so furious I couldn’t see straight. This is just so sad.
I know that it's none of my business but I feel so sad every time my fave actors get divorced. I know that married life isn't easy but what is the point of rushing in the first place? I'm married my self and it's been 19 years ( and counting), got married when I was 19, there are tears, sweat but also laughter and love. You learn along the way what to do and what not. You don't force to have your way as you are not alone but "together" in a marriage. That lust that you had during dating changed into other kind of love but romance can be maintained, you just have to spice up a bit. In a marriage you have to have more tolerance and compromise, change your expectation. You can't change someone else except your self.

(“AJH agency will be releasing statement about our divorce next week and please understand that what ever they say is not true. I hope we will be enlighten by the truth.”) As a woman I fully understand where her betrayal coming from. Being cheated by someone that really matters in your heart could drive you crazy. Easily saying MOVE ON is not EASY AT ALL. In a span of 3yrs she lost herself in the man who doesn’t deserve her. Lawyers in Korea had reviewed what is going on with these couple and they said it is a strategy just like what happened to one of the Korean actors a that the woman had it through media so the court even sided with the woman. This is her method of revenge to destroy ones credibility because she gave her love all the way through but did not thought of their incompatibility are not mendable. My comments are just based on what I have read and watch. I am not their fan but this is kinda weird for being scandalous revelation to the whole world. People become a fan because of the actors looks but I chose their behavior rather than the looks. Their are a lot of Korean actors whose facade are nice but different inside.

The divorce was just as much her fault as his and in all honesty should have been handled privately. She indirectly mentioned his ‘ co-star ‘ as who he was having an affair with ( which means that he was having an affair with the lead actress ) with no proof. This is definitely enough for the lead actress to sue her for defamation and she definitely should. No matter how hurt you are you should never destroy people’s lives like that. Not only did she demand all of his money leaving him in debt ( which he gave her without much argument ), the apartment that they paid for TOGETHER, destroyed his whole career and even has the audacity to ask for his cat, she still has more to say. I am not a fan of either and tbh was more on her side to begin with,but how much does she expect from him? She literally said to him through message that since he wants to divorce her she is going to take away everything from him to pay for her honour. What the hell? On top of her accusations based on her own insecurities and paranoia she also made him pay her for her housework which she already demanded him to pay her for during their marriage. When he mentioned that, she simply said to him that it didn’t matter bc she is the victim. After he gives her all of his money leaving him 130 million won in debt,she suddenly decides that she does not and will not get divorced and that she will just live separately from him. After he literally gave her everything just to get divorced. In my opinion, she doesn’t need/deserve anything more and if anything she got more than she deserved. She demanded him to call her whenever he does anything/goes anywhere from the second he wakes to the second he sleeps and those were her exact words in the messages. You didn’t see the songsong couple do all this.

The Luxury flat that in has in Seoul is actually his own and he bought it before he got married to her, therefore by Law she cannot demand that he gives it to her as payment for humiliating her by asking her for divorce. She just wants to leave him penniless and she knows if the divorce go through she will be the one that needs money in the future, not him, so she is counting on stay married to him so he can pay for her. Fuck That. That woman she's the worst and I actually think that she never really loved him. On the other hand he always said that he loved her very much, but he probably realised after they got married what kind of woman and person she really is. I do feel really sorry for the guy. Now the public is starting to see her for what she really is and start to doubt about every thing she has said on her IG. She is just a compulsive liar and seriously mentally sick.
Divorces are usually messy and full of less than your best behavior... Let's not get dragged into it and just wish them to be happier soon.
A divorce is a hurtfull situation and the blame is on both sides that time will heal. I hope that both will accept soon the seperation and begin a new lifestyle. To be in an unhappy relation is much more painfull than a divorce.

Even though both GHS n AJH might b telling the truth of both side but seeing them in a media accusing one another seems quite immature. They made their household problem as a national problem I know I shouldn’t say anything about them coz I’m not in their shoes but this is too much. Yes, I agree. But I also agree that GHS, right now not in a good side. From some Korean news, her agency, which is AJH agency blame everything on GHS. And she can't get protected by Agency to explain divorce matters like SHK and SJK. Because she know she will put in more bad position with bad statement of agency (she could lost an image in Korea, and can't get a job, Korean people have a big concern that all actors, actress or Idol should remain pure image), she choose that way by reveal it to public. It wasn't a good decision though.
I really hope both of them can settle this things calmly, and I hope everyone who get hurt by this matters can go through everything to get their long lasting happiness

There's no side to take on in their relationship. IMO both are at fault and what's lacking in their relationship is respect and selflessness. But it's in human nature to be selfish, so whatever they are revealing now is just them trying to save their asses in the industry but it's not helping 🤷

I think he feel in love, got married and quickly realized it wasn’t what he wanted. Honestly she seems really difficult to deal with and bent on destroying him. I think if she’s stayed quiet, he may have tried to work things out... she was not trying to divorce him (even though the marriage was over for him). She went out of her way to damage him since he no longer wanted to be with her. I remember watching their marriage show and I couldn’t see why he was with her. she seems very spiteful to me.
