It could be if you’ve ever plugged your phone into a computer and hit the “trust” option. For my Windows computer the device name literally says “WINDOWS” but it’s listed as a MacBook fsr

It’s common, whenever you use an Apple device or even windows with your Apple ID, it gets added to trusted devices, the device stays trusted even if you factory reset it, if you sold it with it still being trusted they can’t do anything if they don’t know your email and password, and even if they did, they would’ve to enter your iPhone or iPad password in order to login which is more than enough to protect your account, but just to be on a even more safer side you should remove any trusted devices that you don’t use.

I was on my. iPad looking for a website I could watch stuff on but I clicked on one and it said my phone has been hacked so I searched “how do you know if your phone has been hacked” and I followed ur steps and luckily the only devices where my iPad and my moms phone so thats a relief
my parents have hacked into my phone. Along with my moms last two phones. Their computer too. I don’t have anything to hide, but privacy is a big thing for me

that’s not your phone being hacked. that would be that your icloud was “hacked” if it even was. “hacking” into someone’s icloud would be fairly difficult. if there were more devices under that list, they are probably your old phones or someone else’s phone you signed into.
so if someone did get into your icloud, more likely by getting/resetting your password than hacking, you would need two-factor authentication to log in and the owner of the apple id would get a notification. most apple id’s have 2fa unless they are old or have not been updated. if someone still got past that, you would get an email about the signed in device as well as a pop up notification on your phone.
and lastly, it is extremely uncommon for an iphone itself to get hacked. iphones are very high security and would not usually allow anything to override its security measures or download anything onto it. i’m no expert on that, but i have heard that iphones don’t really get hacked.

Considering that I collect old devices, and I have hella phones, computers, and watches on there... they will definitely be harder to spot.
Same and also do not throw old devices away even if broken because no matter what happens you can get data back unless you burn the phone

It’s not the iPhone getting hacked, iPhones can’t get hacked, it’s just someone might have your Apple ID and password

Another thing to do: go to your main account, go to settings, go to privacy and then check logged in devices. If there's one you don't recognize then it's most likely a hacker.

I have a samsung s9 and we have a feature so we can check the security of our phone, its pretty nice and usefull
I have a Samsung S9 aswell, It has great security features, I got mine with the two step notifications on and the internal security that comes with the phone on aswell to protect my phone and account 😁😁 #TeamSamsung

If someone has hacked your phone, a password change will not help, the have likely setup back-door entrances.

I had that with my google account, I saw two phones that were NOT mine in the device list. I changed the password.
I had a OnePlus5 that was not mine. I changed the password and signed them out.
