Unfortunately there's no visual distinction between the portals. You either need to enter the specific one you're looking for through sheer quantity of portals, or by using Sage or the quest to pay for entry through the respective node.
this is the most complicated game I've EVER played. Wanna get 4 attack points? No problem! You can spend the next 3 weeks doing boring quests from a useless random guy's adventure log. Wanna maybe go to the place you can START your 4 years grinding? Cool. You can run around a desert with no clue of where you're going to MAYBE find a portal that COULD be the one you're looking for. But once you enter it, you can always teleport back to it like some other areas right? Obviously not. What an appealing game design.

2:02 this does not work for me :X, I had to manually bind it at Settings -> Interface Settings -> Misc. Hotkeys -> (Moving) Change Camera Perspective.
