Hello! Last Dec 13, 2019 I went to IU's concert in Manila. I made this video for the fans who couldn't go to the concert and for international fans who are curious about IU Love Poem in Manila concert. Also for fans who want to reminisce :D
I hope you guys enjoy this video. I made this with love.
If I would describe this concert, I will call it as MAGICAL.
I remember being totally 'wowed' IT WAS REALLY THE BEST!

Being broke was not even the entire issue that time, sobrang daming naubusan ng ticket. Nasa malayo pa kami sa pila bglang me dadaan na magsasabing ubos na daw yung mga seats. Nawasak puso ko nung makita ko ung mga kapwa uaena na nagiiyakan na.

Thankyou no hate at all to other countries but filipino fandoms are reallyyy the best, although we filipino fans/fandoms dont get as much attention or anything like that, we cheer and support them as much as we can because to us they are not just artists they are not just celebrities who sing, for us theyre more than that.
funfact: us filipinos, get surprised almost everything. The lights, the audio, our voices, our energy. But most important, seeing a huge and popular celebrity or k-idol. And we also, have this kind of vibe that when we hear a song and if it matches to our hands clapping. Almost everyone claps as well. Were the city of passion for real ❤
Ive been to a few KPOP concerts in Manila and fans there often suddenly start cheering and screaming and I immediately look at the stage cause I thought the concert is starting but no ones there LOL!

i'd like to point out a few things about Filipinos. knowing you're a survivor from your childhood beginnings, they can identify with you, knowing how hard it was to overcome hardships in life. Filipinos love you because of your humility, because of your generosity, yet, being so down-to-earth kind of lady. your simplicity says it all, and most of all, you have a big heart >>>> you're not only beautiful on the outside, but definitely beautiful on the inside >>> there's no fakeness in you >>>> you said what you mean, you mean what you said, coming from the heart.... there's no easy way to say this : they love you because you're you >>> I U .... may you always share the love thru' your music......

And the only thing which was planned there was the project of IUphils the raising of the Friday and Blueming banner and alternative lightstick. All the fanchants and cheers and singing along were all brought by the passion of the Ma-aenas. The last part where all the people stood up with their phone lights on while singing along with "Heart" is also unplanned. We just really expressed how excited we are and how much we love Jieunie. I can say that it was the best Christmas present of my life.
The last part is where i got goosebumps when i look back, the only word i utter was "wow".

I am Korean-American but I must say that there is so much musical talent in the Philippines and so much passion for music. I think I could throw a coin to a group of young people and anyone can sing super good. I'm glad Korean artists get to experience the warmth and pasison of Filipino fans. Love the culture. Mabuhay!
The fact that its been a long time and i remembered the night at the concert, i was crying because i saw my female idol, im so glad that i got to meet her that time, that time where i need a break from school and had to spend some fun time. I really love her, so much

The reason why Filipinos loves to watched concerts its bec almost 100% Filipinos loves music and were all loveable and passionate we can easily relate true the lyrics of music and Filipinos can easily memorize lyrics even its not Filipino songs we can say music is our happiness ..in terms of crouds u can say Filipinos scream a lot limitless just to expressed how we loves music
IU is such a well loved artist no matter where she is and she deserves every single minute of it for being who she is.
I also remember, at the last concert of backstreetboys here in Philippines, they also said that Filipinos are the best singing crowd they have ever encountered in all of the concerts they've done in their whole life.
I just hope they will visit again someday. Next time we should quiet down a bit and let them hear the accompaniment so it won't hinder with the performance, but I guess the better option would be to use more BIGGER and LOUDER speakers cause we'd be screaming our hearts out when she comes back. XD

i was in this concert and luckily i got to see her closer..this moment was full of energy and good vibes..u can visibly see amazement on IU's face everytime the crowd sang with her..maybe because we cannot speak korean but can sing her songs??😁😊hope she return to the ph and have concert again after this pandemic

I was so broke ng mga panahong to and very much heartbroken dahil hindi ako nakapunta sa concert ng very first kpop idol ko 😭 2011 pa lang mahal ko na si IU yung mga panahong kailangan ko magtiis sa Google translate kasi sobrang bihira ng translations ng mga articles nya 🥲 I am so happy to know na marami ng Filipino na nagmamahal kay IU 💕
