I’ve been to some weddings here in New Zealand for some of my friends here who are from Afghanistan. The food is absolutely delicious.
Also I don’t know why people are having such a hard time understanding where the women are. If you learn about other cultures then you will understand how people celebrate in their culture and traditions.
Not only is the food delicious but the ceremonies are rich in colour, music, dance and joy and the outfits the women wear are beautiful.
Amazing to watch the cooking on such a large scale.

Coming from pretty the same culture, I can say that those weddings are separated. Men are alone and women are alone. As a matter of fact, women do eat the food cooked by thses men and have their own wedding routine.
