They recently covered Cam on a song called "Mayday"... same serious tone as this one, and Tim, the bass singer, sings tenor on the song. He actually has a 5 octave range, and now that Chance has replaced Chris, Tim can sing lead more often (Chance covers bass and baritone). Y'all may want to chill out for an hour or so and watch a live concert on TH-cam... you can get a taste of their personalities and the different songs. This time of year you might want 'How Great Thou Art', 'O Holy Night, 'Do You Hear What I Hear', 'Silent Night', etc...
You might've noticed someone new. That was Adam Chance. He's the new baritone after Chris Rupp left in 2016 to pursue his solo career. You guys should react to Chris Rupp's song with Home Free What Child is This. It's beautiful and its the only time that all 6 sing together
We definitely noticed the change and will put that request on our list because we would love to see them all sing together! Thank you for watching us 😊
Love your reaction. It's a very powerful song that makes you really start to think about your own life. They portryed the song and the meaning of those lyrics so beautifully. I think the song really and truly resignated with their own lives. Mayday is another serious song that tells of love and loss, and it'll tear your heart out. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year to both of you!
It’s a very beautiful song and they executed it so well. Thank you so much for watching our video and for the suggestion. We hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
Another great one is “I can’t outrun you.” Chance is the new guy-wearing a baseball cap in this video, and he sang second after Tim-he does lead on the video and he directed it. It’s somber and heartfelt. And AMAZING.
Thanks for another HF reaction. ♥ 'In The Blood' is definitely one of those songs that make you think, and I love that HF can do both funny and serious, and sound wonderful no matter what. Their ability to keep surprising me with their song choices, arrangements, styles... is one of the reasons why I love them so much. I would suggest *Fishin' In The Dark / Down In The Boondocks* and *Thinkin' Out Loud / Let's Get It On* because I think both arrangements are wonderful, but they don't get suggested as often as other HF arrangements.
Thank you so much for the suggestions! We really enjoy the fact that they can do both serious and funny as well. It’s always great to watch groups that can be so versatile! 😃
It's one of the most beautiful songs they ever made. Do you wanna hear something serious again? Please do "What we ain't got" or "Mayday". Or both of them :) Happy Holidays guys :)
I would agree that this is one of the best. I've just found you guys, and I've only recently discovered reaction videos.... have you seen Home Free do How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace (featuring Peter Hollens)? Both are amazing!
Very good reaction. Most of the songs I would otherwise mention, are already listed in the other comments before me. Thank you for this very insightful and thoughtful reaction. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you both.
Great reaction guys! The water scenes were filmed at the Walter Hill Dam in Murfreesboro, TN. Not sure where the house is, but it’s not next to the dam.
Wonderful reaction as usual, thank you! This is a "make you think" song, strong and powerful. If you are still reacting to Christmas songs before New Years, "Do You Hear What I Hear" and Full of Cheer" please. ^_^
Thanks for the recommendation we really enjoy Home Free! We’ll definitely check out your request even if it’s after Christmas. We wanna make sure we don’t miss a song 😊
I heard this version before I heard the original, and I like this version better. And I do agree that in this version it's easier to focus on the lyrics. And the song definitely resonates with me because I was abused by my mother, and my father was too weak to do anything. The last thing I want to be like is them when I have children, but I have that fear.
Thanks for another Home Free reaction. Since we are still in the Christmas season, please check out Do You Hear What I Hear.. It has one of the most beautiful settings.
Love Love this!!! They nailed this, John Mayer should be proud! The House is in Tennessee and it’s All real! They are Super Talented and they have a unique spin always!✌🏻💕❤️🎄😍
Love your reaction! In the Blood is heart-wrenching for sure, deep meaning and beautifully sung by them. Maybe next one could be "Amazing grace" with Peter Hollens or "O'Holy Night". Looking forward to your next reation of HFsongs. Merry Xmas to you both!
Thank you for watching us! The song was beautiful and the whole video was very well put together. We appreciate your recommendations and hope you had a very Merry Christmas! ☺️
That's not a "waterfall" it's a old Gris mill. Water powered mill used to grind corn into meal and grind other grains. I agree with you, this is by far their best cover. Good reaction, thanks for the video.
Love you guys.. please watch How Great Thou Art if you haven't.. the beatboxer actually sings in this one, and I Cant Outrun You.. and for a different take on Tim Foust (the super bass from Home Free) listen to his version of Lady Gagas Edge of Glory..
Your reactions are awesome! Please keep up the Home Free reactions! The locations are real. I don't know if the waterfall is next to the house...I doubt it. I don't know of Home Free ever using a green screen Merry Christmas!
That's correct...I forgot, also Butts Remix! Thanks for jogging my memory! I don't think they used a green screen for in the blood. I have seen the BTS video I don't recall seeing them use one.
Funny or serious, they always entertain. I think that waterfal is in Minnesota. Not sure about the farmhouse they used. Home Free cover of Ed Sheeran "Castle on the Hill." Is soo good and I'd love to see your reaction. I'd also like you to check out VoicePlay's 21 pilots mashup. (They are acapella also) Thanks so much! I love the reactions.
Loved the reaction. They did some collaborations (Elvira featuring the Oak Ridge Boys; Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens; Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers) that are all fantastic; vids like this one I would recommend How Great Thou Art, Mayday, I Can’t Outrun You, and My Church; vids with a story check out Castle on the Hill, My Old Man, Die a Happy Man and Think a Little Less. All the vids where they interact with a woman they use their wives/girlfriends and the chemistry comes through. Mashups you can also check out Hunter Hayes Medley, Alabama Sampler, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks mashup, and Thinking Out Loud/Let’s get it On mashup. For pure harmonies and seeing the real talent I would go with Seven Bridges Road, God USA and Do You Hear What I Hear. Look forward to 2018 reactions from you. You could do 1 Home Free react a week and not run out for a couple of years. Lol. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
Thank you for watching and for the recommendations! You’re definitely right about the once a week statement 😂 we are excited to get to listen to more of them soon though! We hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy Nee Year!
Love the reactions been following you guys since pen atonics and home free going throw your videos I didn't see the one From Meghan Trainor all about the bass I think you enjoy it it's Funny and hilarious

Because Adam was doing solely body percussion, he was able to sing with them on this one. His 5th part in the harmony is always a treat.
You and many others have hit on the background simple beat throughout the song. I can't stop watching their version.

Such a deep song, I could relate to. Thank you for your great reaction. 🥰

I really like yalls reaction. I watch several reactors but yall really analyze the video and not just their amazing voices.
Very thoughtful comments. Insightful. Just began to pay attention to ya'll and find your take on Home Free the same as mine.
It's one of the most beautiful songs they ever made.
Do you wanna hear something serious again? Please do "What we ain't got" or "Mayday". Or both of them :)
Happy Holidays guys :)
We have the videos and we’ll be checking those out very shortly! Happy holidays to you too! 😊
And since you like their video productions try out "Can't out run you"
I would agree that this is one of the best. I've just found you guys, and I've only recently discovered reaction videos.... have you seen Home Free do How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace (featuring Peter Hollens)? Both are amazing!

Thank you for watching and letting us know about the water scene! 😀
Like your reaction!! Another serious and beautiful cover is "How Great thou Art"! Pure Harmony!!
Thank you for watching and for the suggestions. We love watching them harmonize; it’s incrdible!
@@NikkieNick I second the recommendation for "How Great Thou Art" The beatboxer has a fantastic singing voice as well and has a solo in it.
Merry Christmas and Thank you!!!
Merry Christmas to you too! 😊🎄
Home Free has evolved a lot. Time to revisit them in your reactions!
Love this song

And the song definitely resonates with me because I was abused by my mother, and my father was too weak to do anything. For a variety of vocal performances, try Peter Hollens - he has done a couple of videos with Home Free and with Tim Foust.
Love your review. Responding with all the senses. You gotta hear Mayday, they kill it.
Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching us :)
Thanks for another Home Free reaction. Since we are still in the Christmas season, please check out Do You Hear What I Hear.. It has one of the most beautiful settings.
Thank you for watching our video and for the suggestion! 😃
This one and How great Thou art is 2 of my favorite, if u haven't heard it it u need to
ALL of their songs are just their voices. Thus the point of a capella. 😉
What We Ain't Got wass their first truly serious video
Love Love this!!! They nailed this, John Mayer should be proud! The House is in Tennessee and it’s All real! They are Super Talented and they have a unique spin always!✌🏻💕❤️🎄😍
We loved the video too! They are SO talented and the place that they chose to shoot is beautiful! We are excited to watch more of their videos 😃☺️
For a good semi-serious video - Thinkin' Out Loud/Let's Get it On by Home Free - 5 minute single take video with a cute story line
I love John Mayer
Could you please react to Home Free's Amazing Grace. Loving it. Merry Christmas
We will add that to our list! Thank you for watching and we hope you had a Merry Christmas as well 😊
Love you guys.. please watch How Great Thou Art if you haven't.. the beatboxer actually sings in this one, and I Cant Outrun You.. and for a different take on Tim Foust (the super bass from Home Free) listen to his version of Lady Gagas Edge of Glory..
Please check out their cover of Mayday, it's amazing!
Great reaction! If you want serious, react to
Their cover of Mayday or I Can't Outrun You! They are both amazing!
I Can't Outrun You is a must. Another beautiful serious song!
Thank you for the support and we have put those suggestions on our list! 😃
The Church by them is fantastic. Check it put.
Castle on the Hill and Mayday are Amazing check those out please!!!
That's not a waterfall, it's a dam. : )
Your reactions are awesome! Please keep up the Home Free reactions! The locations are real. I don't know if the waterfall is next to the house...I doubt it. I don't know of Home Free ever using a green screen Merry Christmas!
They had to use a green screen on the "Fishin' In The Dark/Boondocks" mashup.
That's correct...I forgot, also Butts Remix! Thanks for jogging my memory! I don't think they used a green screen for in the blood. I have seen the BTS video I don't recall seeing them use one.
We appreciate you watching and supporting us so much! We most definitely will be reacting to more of Home Free in the near future!

ScaryMary Sunshine - the waterfall is actually an overflow dam. It’s the Walter Hill Dam in Murfreesboro, TN near Nashville.
Ok, I thought someone said MN. I've been enlightened. Thank you. :)
ScaryMary Sunshine - You’re most welcome! You can actually see it on Google Maps and see that the house isn’t by the dam. Merry Christmas!🎁
The house isn't beside the water, but it is in Tennessee.
They are incredibly entertaining and talented. We are very excited to react to more of their videos soon. Thank you for watching our videos! 😊
Absolutely love this song. Love these guys. Check out Helplessly Hoping.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Check out O'Holy Night by Home Free. Love your reaction to In The Blood.
I don't care what somebody says to you, every man cries to this version.
Have y'all done "How Great Thou Art"?
A song by them similar to this one is What We Ain’t Got cover by Jake Owen’s. I would love to see you react to it. I loved this reaction ❤️
Thank you for the suggestion and for watching us 😀
Nikkie Nick my pleasure.
For a really good song that shows a soft side you should watch to how great thou art.
They rarely do green screen, it just depends on what the video needs, but I'm pretty sure that was real.
