This hotel is terrible. You want to stay at the Majestic Garden if you’re on a budget. Room quality is way better and you get a great shuttle to and from the park… AND if you walk the ten minutes to the park you get to enter thru the back of Downtown Disney where there are no lines for security. Way better experience and we as a family have done that 5 times.
This is my favorite hotel when visiting Disneyland and I will never stay anywhere else. My mom started the tradition over 25 years ago and this was my 3rd year carrying on the tradition with my own child. I love this place and no one can ever convince me it isn’t amazing !
This is our family go-to hotel when going to Disneyland. Just found out last month, it’s my brother’s family’s as well. Great walking distance to the park entrance, clean standard room, very helpful and kind staff. This last time we visited, my one daughter threw up in the middle of the night, and I went down to the office to get all kinds of cleaning supplies and new towels, and, they were very kind and helpful. First thing in the morning, they were helping me finish up the cleaning. This place is a great value as well! I always get the top floor because I’m sensitive to hearing footsteps above, but I always do that with any hotel.
Ditto! Sept. 2023, stayed 7 nights. Alone. Didn't think twice about it or walking back and forth at any hour! Just stayed there with spouse in July and going back again in Oct! 🙂
I stayed there once a long time ago. Back when they had the city pass that included Disneyland, Universal studios & San Diego Zoo tickets. I believe it also included the WAX museum and the bus tour of the Hollywood hills. I remember it so well because it was so cheap. I stayed 5 days and paid an average of 50 bucks a day and somehow got a free ACE ticket for the week. My girlfriend and I never paid so little and had so much fun.
this used to be my favorite hotel growing up. back in the 1900s when the family would drive up the road looking for vacancy signs 😂 loved the short walk.
Been there a number of times!!! My only place to stay! Last time I was there was 2013. They are the nicest!! That little strip and the 7-11 on the corner!!! Lot's of food and drinks!!! Oh that 7-11 is crazy in a good way!
This was the first hotel that I stayed at after my first Disneyland trip after it reopened. I found a lot of great reviews on this hotel and my gut said "let's stay here". I brought my Grandmother and mom a long for the trip and they loved this place so much as well. The ambiance in the lobby was very unique with it's medieval theming. I knew about the pool and spa but never went to that area. Great service and room at this hotel and I will be sure staying here again. Thank you for doing this review! You should do a review on Candy Cane Inn & Suites, it's directly across the street from Castle Inn & Suites.
Yes! I love this hotel. I used to live on orangewood as a kid, and we had annual passes to Disneyland, and walking by that hotel really felt like PART of the park experience to me. If I ever need to stay at a hotel near there, that's where I am staying. Also, I have a similar experience with beverages. The first time I tried a pacific punch energy drink, I was on a road trip, and it ALWAYS takes me back Zion National park! It's the first place I had it, and Zion was such a stunning place. It really changed my life. Angel's Landing somehow blew my mind more than the Grand Canyon. Something about the view, and how close to the edge you could get.
Our family loves this hotel. We stayed here in 2019 for our Disneyland trip. We just booked our next trip for October and will be staying here again! I love how close the hotel is to the parks.
100% agree. This is where I stayed on my last trip and will definitely stay there next time as well. You get the Good Neighbor perks, it’s a quick walk to the parks, there are convenience stores nearby, and the rooms are very nice.
Thanks for the great reviews you always give on the hotels. My husband always watches your videos before we decide where to stay! Just wondering of you've ever done one on Anaheim Desert Inn and suites? We'd love to see that too. ❤ Thanks for always caring and being so helpful.
Castle Inn is my go-to! I've stayed there two times so far this year & have two more trips planned before the end of year (I have a Magic Key, 😂). Wonderful, friendly staff, clean rooms & an unbeatable location with extremely reasonable rates.
First hotel I went to for my first couple of trips to Disneyland was the Saga Inn. I remember the mini golf course next to it and alllll that was right by this Castle Inn. I was def under 10, but i still remember!
Hi Chris! I live in Alberta, Canada, and love watching your videos! I was last at Disneyland a few years ago and since that time I have had a second baby. I would love to see a short video answering the questions: are stroller wagons allowed in Disney parks? What constitutes a "stroller wagon"?. Last time I was at Disney I saw many wagons, yet all the literature online says they are not allowed! Sincerely, Elise Anderson
I’m staying there for the first time with my sister in September for the Halloween 10K Race 🏃🏻♀️ perfect distance from the start/finish line and the parks!!
I’ve stayed there! And Stefani (yes the Stefani who does yours provosts!!!) did my makeup for Oogie boogie bash there! It was awesome and I loved it there ❤
I went to Disneyland two weeks ago and I stayed at the Riviera Motel which was nearby the Castle Inn & Suites. I passed it on my walks to and from the parks on that street 8:38 and thought that would be a cool hotel to stay at, I never have before. Hopefully I can on a future trip and I hope I'll get to see you again one day Chris. It was so cool meeting you in 2019 💙
Aloha Chris... I've stayed there many times..using your link to GAT...its nothing fancy but nostalgic to me. I've met the owner, nice guy always a good staff. The thing I really appreciate about this hotel is the beds...they are really good beds! The location is fantastic..I walk with a cane and is an easy walk to DL but as you went the other direction you see the restaurants but across the street there is a CVS or a Walgreens...there is also a 7-11 that sells water by the case! Great way to stock your fridge...a note..their soda machines are only $2..not the $4 most hotels will gouge you .. Love this hotel!
Staying in one of the family suites there at the end of the month. Very excited about the location and the very reasonable price. Thank you for the review and your wonderful videos. I enjoy them every time.
I was REALLY hoping Chris would show us one of those, because WE'RE supposed to be doing the same in Oct! Trying to decide IF it's big enough for 3 adults, one with some mobility limitations. Would love a review post trip, if you're willing to let the PPP family know what a Family Suite is like! 🙂
@@caisis2 it certainly sounds like it is because it has a king in the main room and a second room which has 2 queen beds. We are bringing our 2 adult kids and their significant others so looked great size for our 6….but we shall see. Happy to get you my feedback and pics when we are there the last week of August. I may need a reminder do please feel free to tap me here to remind.
My ex-wife and I stayed there on our honeymoon in 2003 or 4 (obviously I don't remember it well anymore, lol) the room was pretty trashy compared to when we stayed there 2 yrs earlier with family. Good to see it's gotten better
Hey,Chris,I never stayed overnight, hardly,in any of the hotels,or motels, but in some of the liquor storwes/souvenir/snack stores, there are some tremendous snacks..like Hostess Cup Cakes and Coca Colas!
We stayed there in March 2023. When we woke up on the morning of our departure day, no water came out of the sink or tub. I went to the reception and they said it was because of something the city was doing. They were apologetic, but i expected them to offer us a few bottles of water or something to make up for the (pretty big) inconvenience. We got on our flight without brushing our teeth or taking showers or anything. We liked the hotel otherwise, but I'm not sure we'd stay there again.
I stay here almost every trip! My only complaint is the beds. They are pretty hard and I prefer a softer bed. After a long day in the parks, i sleep either way. 😂
I'll be going there in November and staying in their family suite which has 1 King bed and 2 Queen beds and it's own vanity in a separate room. There are not too many choices of hotels within walking distance that sleep 6. I believe there is an older video of his with a tour of the family suite.
We heard about Castle Inn and Suites and my wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon! We loved it! PPP! HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE SAD NEWS ABOUT THE CANOES??? 😢

I can’t remember the name of the restaurant that was outside the park. Where the waiters/waitress dressed up as the Disney characters and your chairs were almost like the haunted mansion doom buggies. This was back in the 80’s.
This looks like a nice place to stay and I appreciate that it's clean but I prefer a hotel with vinyl floors because of my asthma. I've stayed at the Candy Cane Inn but was looking for other hotel suggestion please? Thank you
Question: I’m really curious about Peter Tu. I’ve personally seen him walk in the front gate without a pass, no phone and seen on multiple occasions walk right on rides. Do you know why? You should do a video showcasing him.
While it was close to the parks, we unfortunately couldn’t get any sleep because they put us in a room under a families room and the children kept jumping up and down on the floor. We called the front desk because it was after 1:00 am and the parents still didn’t have their children under control. The front desk didn’t do anything about it. We didn’t get any sleep and I had a long drive home 450 miles away. Since then I have told anyone who asked me about that hotel to ask for a top floor. I personally will not stay there again because of how the hotel wouldn’t do anything.
Every time that l drive by this hotel, l dream of them purchasing the empty land next to them and building some type of entertainment venue that fits their theme
I was at d23 the street has so many people walk to from Disney and the park staff walk the street I will tell you most 80% stay north of castle very noticeable
I appreciate a video for real people who can’t afford the Disney resort prices, people who stay in normal hotels based on prices.

You got me hooked on the Anaheim Hotel. I'm staying there again in Dec. I will have to give this one a try. Thanks, Chris!
We Love this Hotel!! We stayed here for our Honeymoon in June this year! Love how close it was to the parks! Super cheap price too!
“If you ever use one of those, there it is”. Truth!
I think any Disney enthusiast has stayed at the Castle hotel at least once. It’s an Anaheim icon.😊
Thank you for this. I was hesitant to book this hotel but my family booked it for our trip next year.
I always wanted to stay there as a kid!! I grew up in Covina, so no need to stay there… but I always wanted too!! Looked so magical!! 🩷🩷🩷

I try to stay there every time I go, but they fill up fast. It is AMAZING!!!
I agree stayed there last year and we loved it! 🤩
I love bar soap too! Looks like a really comfortable place. Thanks, Chris.
Stayed there in January for the Disneyland Half Marathon! It was great! Just a short walk to the start!

Stayin there in two weeks. Not our first time. Can’t wait.
We love Vitamin Waters too 😋
Castle Inn is a family favorite when we are visiting!
Hi Cris. I love your videos... congratulations on the channel. Because of you, I always say "flush test" whenever I use a bathroom.
One of my favorite places to stay, nice to see it get some spotlight 🏰
Will definitely stay here on our next trip out west. Thanks for the tip!
We stayed her during our last trip and we had no complaints! It was great!
We just stayed there. The beds were on the hard side, but the staff was awesome!!! I would stay again❤❤❤
I love that hotel we stayed a couple years ago.

Hey Chris! It's a 'Chifferobe' dresser a unique closet-like piece of furniture.
We just stayed there two weeks ago. Agree it’s convenient. Pool is nice. We were stuck in elevator but they got us out in 15mins. They said sorry.
We love castle inn! ❤
I was there with my brother last April- super convenient and we enjoyed it 😊

how much do rooms cost?
This is an excellent hotel review. I’ve never stayed at this hotel, but I’d really like to. Very charming hotel.
Does the Castle Inn and Suites have a safe in the room? I didn't see one.

Oh man, how did the hotel miss the obvious opportunity to use a "knight window" pun!
Seems like a very nice place! Hope you do a video on the Anaheim Hotel which close to the Castle Inn! Also a great place to stay!😁

Within this last month, I *think* somewhere in the midst of the European park tours.... and I've wondered the same thing/reason why?!?! NO clue!
The room tables look large enough to put the ubiquitous pizza or take out Chinese food on! That is Disney tradition for families, also!
