@beccasteele6874 Sooo happy to be back. Thank you for the warm welcome! I wrote a blog post, My Return home to My Heart. www.vegangreatlife.blogspot.com
Wow, your skin & hair look great Tracy. :) I definitely see a difference then from your previous diet. You look more glowing. Did you use anything on your skin or is it all the food? May God bless you and Don. ♥ xoxo
@ImpulseSilvana Wow, thanks! Funny, in my last video I had a comment saying, "Go Carnivore, Looks like you guys are barely hanging on!" Don isn't even in the videos. People look for what they want to see, then deny confirmation bias. To sum up your question about skin and hair, I think it's mostly diet! Lots of antioxidants in plants! I have tried to help my hair and skin a bit, tho I am really a minimalist. I have a predominant Vata dosha which tends towards dryness, and more wrinkling! So, there's that! To counter, I only wash my hair once per week, and I use a natural shampoo and conditioner. Actually locally made. Company called Just (I think?) The shampoo comes in a stainless steel container and can be refilled, so she's all about totally minimizing impact, which checks off several boxes on my list ~ local, natural, less plastic! For face, I now only actually wash w/ a gentle cleanser once per day. Scrub w/ wash cloth in morning, cleanse in evening. I use a rose witch hazel, then a few drops of a vegan serum, and vitamin E oil on some scars. I may use my own rose hips oil + aloe blend, or TruSkin which I had been buying Vitamin C moisturizer. I also do some gua sha 1 - 2 times per week. A gentle scraping just to improve blood flow. Really, it's pretty minimal. But it seems less is best to combat dryness. And, I actually just trimmed my hair myself ~ more than just my bangs! That's a first!
@@vegangreatlife Thank you for sharing Tracy! You did a wonderful job cutting your hair. Looks much fuller. People will always oppose, but everyone is different and so it's best to do how you feel best. I've been following you for a long time, so I can tell the difference. (Currently on a 40 day juice fast cleanse, Day 35 today, it's been great! Can't wait to eat solids again! (All plant-based, mostly raw)
I think you look fantastic as well! Glowing with beautiful full healthy hair. I've experimented with my diet very similar to you and still haven't settled. My heart says WFPB, but my blood test revealed deficiencies. So, I added eggs and raw milk from my own animals, but I still prefer no animal foods in my heart even though my health improves. Jeesh
@@Sunshine-Lyon I understand. We simply had a change of mind and heart and decided ~ told the Universe / God!? ~ that it needed to work. We have unraveled sooo very much w/ respect to our last several years, and all that was related to our falling away to begin with. I've attempted to start the conversation about it in previous videos, but I plan to do a summary. Don will be doing a video soon too. There's too much to unwrap in a short video, but will keep trying to get the message across. It's so much bigger than just food! Hang in there. See yourself well. Check in with any potential saboteurs, or ''parts' that either don't feel worthy of a super healthy, great life, or have just been repeating (unwittingly affirming) what's NOT working, rather than using the mind to imagine what you desire. That's a teaser to start w/ more to come! ~ Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated! Tracy
Look at all the colours. Full of health! You also look so alive Tracy. I’m glad you are back to WFPB, because I get great ideas from your videos
@fairywar YAY! Thank you! I'm so glad. And sooo happy to be back!!!
So glad your back on the vegan train 🎉

@@ImpulseSilvana congrats on the cleanse! Impressive. Near the finish line! Chewable food on the horizon!

I'm going to put my acorn squash in the oven now.
