Holy shit. Never thought I should see a live version of this on TH-cam, so thanks a lot for the upload. Alan Nemtheangas operatic messings over that slow and evil rythm is just the icing on the cake. It takes this song to a whole new level. I get goosebumbs every fucking time.
Yes. I absolutely agree with this. The material with Mortuus is light years ahead of the Norsecore stuff. This has to be one of my favorite song ever though
I completely agree, as much as I love most of their stuff, Imago Mortis was the first song I heard and still one of my favorites, and yes I'd say slow stuff is better
Just had some nostalgia kicked in when i listened to that song while making cute little cupcakes. 😂 this concert was one of the best i ever saw and i did not know marduk back then. Same as primordial. Blessed i saw them both. Thank you for bringing me back
The Priest performing the Rite of Exorcism in this song is directly ripped from a scene from "Dracula has Risen from the Grave". A hammer horror movie with Christopher Lee.
kurwa mortuus mnie rozpierdala swoją postawą.jest taki zimy w swoich ruchach na scenie zajebista sprawa byłem na ich koncercie w olsztynie w tamtym roku artystyce lato rozperdolili konkurencje w pył hail marduk
@BodomChildBreeder He's not really new, it's gonna be seventh year with Marduk. And if you're interested, he also has two solo projects, Funeral Mist and Triumphator.
@kor9 7 years!?!?! ahh shit.. lol ye cheers for them bands ill check them out im more melodeath but anything with standout vocals and his really have something evil in there..
@Sabbath629 after 16 years of a amazing career and 9 fucking great albums, you get into a Marduk for one song, you prbably should listen old Marduk too
what do you expect them to do? tell the managers of the summer breeze festival that they are too trve for security guards and won't play if they stay in front of the stage? man this is a some ten thousand people festival, i think it's not so wrong to have security guys.
Please don't forget: -there is a hell lot of expensive equipment -the audience want to see the band, not drunken fans -stage divers need them to survive the masses xD ...
@StagnantExistance well then check out /watch?v=4Z1oZCj1RH8 this is a very recent video from marduk. and then compare this to the studio version. the live is way better played and recorded, especielly the drums, faster, and more groovy fills. i think you cant judge a bands professionalism by seeing 1 live video.
and another thing: use internet to express yourself. not to attack others. most of us (internet user's) have done it, but... once is enough to understand it's worthless.
the bass plays divinely.........
+Giorgio Piga Rom 5:12 is an absolute masterpiece of Marduk's bassist (Devo if I recall right).
Ookko runkkaillu?

What a sight this must have been. I am forever jealous, many years later after first seeing this video.

In my mind this song is one of the many examples why Marduk, contrary to popular belief, are best when they're slow.
This song, and Bleached Bones. Epic.
exactly

The Priest performing the Rite of Exorcism in this song is directly ripped from a scene from "Dracula has Risen from the Grave". A hammer horror movie with Christopher Lee.
Marduk very rarely have guest singers share the stage with them.
Gotta love that crunchy bass line!!!!!!
Fuck Yeah! Alan Averill on stage with Marduk! fukking epic!
I think for a fan of Marduk AND Primordial this clip is kinda like an overkill.

That roar at 3 seconds.
This is power.
Indeed.
@MarbleMagic they have to be able to live up to their studio performance. That's a sign of professionalism.
what do you expect them to do? tell the managers of the summer breeze festival that they are too trve for security guards and won't play if they stay in front of the stage? man this is a some ten thousand people festival, i think it's not so wrong to have security guys.

@freddyXDyeah Soldier on the battlefield too. What's your point?
@freddyXDyeah Writing such strong words must really turn you on.
@freddyXDyeah Screaming sounds good, because it's some kind of shriek, not sweet, calm singing by pop star.
