It was her, Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen, Duffy. Joss Stone was pushed big time, she came out with two albums in the span of a year. She performed at the Grammy's and got the big push. She broke away from the mainstream record label on her own choice and decided to do her own thing and be independent. Two years later people fell in love with Amy Winehouse and she totally took the mantle as best UK soul singer. Joss Stone slowly faded from mainstream music and now she is independent artist and It is paying off cause she can be creatively independent and maintain her popularity.

I mean, "What woman couldn't relate to this song?" The only real complaint that I have about WFYS is that I wish that Joss would've put as much vocal power in "love Me", and "Let Me Breathe" on the actual album as she does singing those songs live! OMG DUDE, as a matter of fact, I watched the whole show at World Cafe, it was AH-mazing. "Let Me Breathe" was so so so powerful live, I could not believe it! They pratictly improvised that song, along with Sensimillia, oh my god...Joss Stone is amazing! About the vocals, I like them the way they are. I like that she knows that she can slay'em vocals anytime she wants to, but she chooses not to, like, "over sing" the notes on the album version, because there's no need to. Leave those killer notes for the live performances lol ;) Did you watchd her at Fonda Theater? Oh my god, that was one hella of a show! :)

And in the music and arts in general, the race of a Human Being, can never be the currents of cultural slavery.
