I play this for my diamond doves all of the time since I can't mimic their guttural throat sound or their cooing that well. They'll call back and forth to this, it's adorable
@@SugarInMahLemonade because they are 2 very different species. Ringnecks are agressives while Doves are very gentle. Unless you have a huge aviary its very risky to put both together as the ringneck will surely attack the Dove and it wont defend itself
@@Glamorista oh! I meant that I have a ringneck dove already, not a parrot. So there would be two doves caged together, although technically different species. I do worry though that the size difference would be a concern for aggressive behavior
Actually, she's been with us for a year and she's been doing really well. We always make sure to spend time with her every day, and she loves to coo back and forth with us. She's generally a pretty happy bird. Recently we did get her a dove friend though, so in case you were worried, she'll be just fine. :)
Am si eu o turturica...cred ca este mascul , dar nu sunt sigura. Ma gandeam sa gasesc o pereche sau chiar sa o dau pe aceasta...nu - mi place ca e singura.

@@SugarInMahLemonade oh ok! It might be a good idea not to put them together. You can try and watch how things go and have another cage just in case
They're some of the smallest doves
Generally, they must live in pairs or flocks, as their need for companionship is high. It's lonely :(
