Your explanation of how the storm has evolved means you dont have any idea what the storm is going to do....its impossible to predict, but it is possible to stop hyping the storm. Just tell ppl what its doing and stop the fear mongering.
It's not impossible, that's the whole point of meteorology, to give people forewarning. Sure things may not turn out exactly that way, that doesn't mean you should completely disregard it. They're just giving you a picture of what might happen so you can prepare.
