It is so cool that baby gorillas almost look like human babies especially from the back. She is such a good mother. Gorillas r my favorite animals. Just love them.
Momma is so proud of her two babies. They nurse then sleep. A process happens 20 times a day. Lol she is so strong and able to show massive amounts of strength, but she is gentle as a lamb towards the babies. Look at them all going in for the night.
Sometimes she lies on her back and then the babies are on top of her. Sometimes she lies on her belly and then she puts the babies on the ground between her arms.
They are almost 3 months. The most recent videos are 3 from 16 July I uploaded yesterday and one from 26 August I uploaded before. The boy's name is N'Kato, the girl's name is N'Hasa. The twingirl has no problem finding the nipple!!!! Filming them is a hobby of mine and not a job! I have many hobbies. During the busy holidays it was not always possible to film them. So I concentraded on taking photos of them lately (that's easier when it's crowded).
I don't beliee it's really a habit of one being on the one site and the other on the other. I have seen them the other way around. They are doing fine and both drink and grow. They are premature the zoo thinks. Don´tk noe when the hairs on the rest of their body will appaer. I'd have to take a closer look at my (recent) photos to see if there already are some hairs.
Are the twins almost three months?. Are there any recent video's of them? What are their names? The twingirl has a hard time of finding her mother's nipple and the twinboy is always nursing. If the zoo thinks they are premature maybe that is why they seem not to grow as fast as one baby gorilla does. Cindy T. Thank you for your video's and information.
