For the third time on this season Ingram takes advantage cutting a chicane and dont get penalized.
I suppose having an Astra in the passenger door the next corner was his penalty 😅
I admittedly don't watch the BTCC very often (which I maybe could do more of as a Brit, but it is my secondary touring car series behind the Aussie Supercars that and I'm a single seaters guy first and foremost when it comes to motorsport), but I do keep a fairly keen eye on it. It's a shame the grid has shrunk more this year but the racing's still been great from what I've seen! Great to see a foreign channel (by your name I assume you're Italian?) showing the series too! I assume you're getting the races online? I wasn't aware the BTCC had any international TV deals.
You're right, I'm Italian and my channel is Italian. I'm the only one in Italy who covers motorsport beyond the usual Formula 1. I also have a Twitch channel where we restream IMSA races; I do this because so many people in Europe and America (both North and South) are blocked due to geolocation restrictions.
Actually, I record BTCC races from ITV Sport's live broadcasts on TikTok and then re-upload them. Usually, my videos get demonetized, but I don't mind. My goal is to spread and promote motorsport culture in its entirety, especially because in Italy, people only talk about Formula 1.
@@il_tinca Cool, keep up the good work! The beauty of motorsport is that there are so many disciplines out there. Single Seaters, Touring Cars, GTs, Prototypes, Rally, motorcycles et al..
I'm part-Italian myself, actually (my dad's half-Italian) though admittedly I don't speak the language. Although I'm not a member of the Tifosi (I'm a McLaren fan, so I'm pretty happy with how the Dutch GP today played out)!

I went today, every time a touring car race was beginning I had no internet use on my phone although I had a full 5G signal.
then miraculously after each race ended it began to work again.
All 3 races this happened.
They are obviously using signal blockers to stop live streaming.
I think it’s rubbish how we are controlled so much.
My friend, it's not signal blockers. What you experienced is a geolocated block on the event. This happens for other motorsport competitions as well, and in other countries around the world. For example, the guys who follow me from South America (Chile, Brazil, Peru, etc.) do so because it's the only way they can watch IMSA races live during my live streams. Starting this year, here in Italy, we can no longer watch DTM on TH-cam as we always have.
@@il_tinca I was just trying to search general info on Google online including info about the event and the timetable so we knew what time the next race and pit walk was at.
What do you mean gelocated block?
I mean it literally worked perfect in between each main race but as soon as the race started nothing?

Geo-blocking is specifically designed to restrict access to a particular website or content in a specific country. In your case, you could only access the site when there wasn't a race going on because, to watch that race, you needed to be subscribed or have paid. So, the entire site was blocked on your device during the race. I'm using ChatGPT for translations, so I hope I made myself clear

Thata strange cause i was there all weekend and we had the youtube livestream playing while right next to the track and was working fine with no problems

The excitement is just not there in these "spec" jelly moulds up to 20/30 years ago, and the drivers are as dull as dishwater. Stick and balloon suspension and all make the same boring "buzzing" noise, same gear changes, same time...zzzzzz
Assuming that I'm the only Italian motorsport channel that covers and showcases the BTCC, I can tell you that many people are starting to get into this championship. I, like many others, find it thrilling, entertaining, and extremely competitive.
That being said, I have a serious question for you: if you don't like it and don't find it enjoyable, why do you keep watching it and criticizing it?
Take your rose tinted glasses off and you will realise the racing today is different but just as good. And the cars when on the hybrid button have over 450bhp
The knockhill races were fun to watch, thats not just because i was there
