With a very minor mod to the old brace of the HG Freedom, you can use it to attach to the HGCE Freedom. Sure the fit of the brace on the inner frame is not as good, but its something better at least. Do give it a try! (by minor mods i mean, a very thin strip of plasticard along the peg of the shield brace. the hole of the HGCE shield is a tad bigger. I had done that mod on mine!)

I have this kit, and the beam sabers keep falling pit of the side skirts of mine. I did build the skirts wrong the first time I built them so that could be why, but I am pretty sure they are okay. If anyone has a solution to this problem please tell me thx

@@travisalpasa LOL the innerframe of 2.0 is terrible, joint loose overtime and even on the first try of pose there's a usual issue of the pegs getting broken to the point that a 3rd party needs to make a metallic frame for the kit as well as for the MG Justice and MG Providence.
I prefer this over getting the RG. It's a good kit, to be sure, but I prefer the stability this would provide. 700 yen more is worth considering, certainly, but that's enough to get a Kotobukiya weapon set or something, or almost enough to one of several HG kits. I think the HG route is for me.
I think I'll easily get this and the Real Grade. I love the aesthetics of the Real Grade version and it seems to have great articulation and features as well, but Real Grades while you definitely can get a bunch of poses out of them I don't like posing a lot because well they can wear down easy with over use. High Grades on the other hand while they can wear down, you never feel like it would break, so you can pose them to your hearts content for dayd on end and still be able to have it solid for later on. Ofcouse even a HG has its limits for how much you should pose it but its limit is much higher. Real Grades are good for 50 or so poses then leaving on your shelf as a beautiful kit but High Grades are constant fun if you get the really good high grades

I vote for this new HGCE ALL THE WAY. The RG pisses me off with its deformed proportions. The oversized torso, lanky arms and monstrous backpack are eye-rape for me. Besides it looks nothing like the anime model and I'm a sucker for anime accuracy. Well, maybe it's accurate if we take into account the QUALITY animation moments. Good thing Bandai stopped being too "experimental" regarding mecha design with the RGs. On the other hand I think the RG Strike Freedom looks perfect proportions-wise, even if the torso cannon is a bit misplaced.
I'm kinda torn with the revive line. I've just gotten full speed into the real grades and because of that am a little underwhelmed with the revives. I had the revive RX78 and just found it too plain. I kinda wish Bandai would have not done the revive line and would have just decided to pump out more real grades per year instead of only 3-4.
+Denis Frenette They have different target audiences. RGs are more expensive and have a huge amount of details while HGUCs(including revives) are cheaper and are more anime-styled with their details.
I bought the RG cuz it was on heavy discount.... looking at this HG Revive, I’m regretting not getting this one. The RG is a plastic hand grenade. Pose-and-forget, the RG is.
Awesome kit but some parts seems to loose especially the right leg and the beam sabers and the wing. But over all it's a good kit to have but not a playable one like HGCE Strike...

The stylized proportions are one of the defining features of the RD line. I have some doubt they're ever going to make a Strike Dagger, given that it has been 3 years since the M1 Astray.
