Simply the best interview with Noel Gallagher there is. And they aren't journalists. How hard can it be?
Excellent podcast. Once again, Johnny Marr is lauded. When he wrote his autobiography, I went to a live event with him at Birmingham Town Hall. The place was rammed. He spoke and played for two hours. I had exactly the same feeling as Noel describes from being with him. He could become a motivational speaker and would clean up. A truly great human being.
Great chat. Noel, a legend who defined a generation, talking to absolute legends of the business. Brilliant podcast.
Is Gary Kemp, the songwriter of Spandau Ballet, a legend? 30 years ago I reckon Noel would have been too cool to have gone near him with a barge pole. He'd have been in the same camp as Phil Collins.
That was magnificent. One of the best interviews ever I’d say. What a trio!!
„When your singer is at his peak, your band is at its peak.“ Get that, Gary Kemp?
Awesome, the Chief is on top form. Loved it. Thanks guys x
Really great interview. It came across as more like a conversation about music between three friends. Great job
Noel easily a good interviewee
Great interview lads. Absolutely got lost in it. Amazing. Thank you x
Great interview gents........great line of questioning, and Noel is always good value. Love Spandau Ballet, love Noel. Love Nick Mason's Saucerful of secrets more! More music please.
Sorry I'm a bit late getting in on the act but i'm listening daily to catch up.
Love it all, wouldn't change a thing, just want more of it, especially the behind the scenes at the gigs / events and the muso related stuff like the songwriting and first / favourite instrument tales.
The only thing missing is we are not all in a great old pub sitting around a table with a pint listening to the brilliant yarns.
Onwards and Upwards Chaps & Chapesses
That was great, that 40 mile journey whizzed by.
It's interesting to hear Guy Pratt say that the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour made Pink Floyd cool.

I don't want to be pedantic but it was 2 years and 10 months from signing their record deal to playing Knebworth (October 1993 - August 1996)
But to keep it fair as nobody has heard of you until you release your first single it was 2 years and 4 months from their first release of music (April 1994 - August 1996)
So not a year and a half but just over 2 years which is still not bad
They were also a year out with the Pink Floyd show at Maine Road. It was 1988.
Really enjoyed that! Brilliant podcast!
Great interview and some great thoughts on covid. About right that the media ignored the results of the test gigs and events - who wants to hear positive news?
Great interview!

Great stuff!
Really great interview fellas.
Brilliant
Feels like crying is an amazing cover. Love it NG
I’ve still got a ticket for Pink Floyd at Maine road.
They said it was 1989. I''ve looked it up, it was 8 August '88.
I went to see oasis 3 times and Noel Gallagher 4 times . NGHFB is the new oasis!!
The best ideas are always the simplest. Musicians interviewing Musicians.
34:55 Yeah, Noel, thank God for punk for wiping away all the shit. And without it we'd have never had Spandau Ballet. Scarcely bears thinking about.
"Furry skateboards and a corduroy poodle"..👏😆
