absolutely great module! definitely goes to my buying list!
the magic is in carefully sequencing the cv’s
Great video. The A-137-1 must be in the 10 best Doepfer modules list. That would be a hard list to decide on though.
that’s true 😊
ok, I'll put this module on my wish list! I've always wondered what a wave folder is, thanks for the great demo.
you’re welcome 😊
Love em. A good filtered saw is great, but an fm’d and folded sine or triangle is my favorite
@@fentanyljones6956 yes they’re nice 😊
It is my favourite non-vco module in my humble rack. I even tried running the Microgranny into it with a conversation sample...and used LFOs and envelopes to get weird and fun results. New to your channel, and really enjoying the demos.
thank you, yes this module is a gem
Try attenuating the input, this thing is beautiful and subtle if you decrease the level :)
I love my a-137 its great for woodwind type sounds.
yes, it works best on softer sounds 🙂
Sounds great at 10:56.
thanks 🙏
It's a nice module, I just miss a vca in there to control input gain; volume has big impact working this module.
the level knob (lower left) is tied to the input so you can manually control it, or do you mean cv control the gain?
@@Detroit-Berlin Yes, that is what I mean, I usuallly put a VCA before it. BTW this module also pair up nice with MI Rings.
@@EdwinSL it does indeed
Assuming you're not clipping the input, what's the difference between increasing the "multiples" and increasing the input volume?
The Multiples knob controls the folding, @@GeorgeLocke
