Crazy I literally just looked on your page for a new video, closed TH-cam and when I opened it back up. BOOM! One of the only channels I enjoy watching anymore.
@@GunnFishTV I was there Tuesday of this week and there was grass everywhere. I also talked to one of the head biologist that is working on the grass/vegetation. He told me that they were in the process of trying to eliminate that black/slimy grass and hopefully get the native grass and lilly pads back up and growing.
@anthonymiller3320 that's weird the grass would change that quickly. Im glad to hear that though. They have sprayed it for so long that maybe now they realize its not the best thing to do
@@GunnFishTV are you talking about the water Willow, the Hydrilla, or the Lyngbya. Lang is not a Grass. It’s a cyno bacteria. I’ve heard it referred to as “black snot” by fisherman. hydrilla is a non-native vegetation. It was so bad in 2008 that it was difficult to run a boat. The water willow it’s against Dominions Power’s Shoreline management to kill it. Water Willow is a big fine.
@@GunnFishTV Thanks! I use the dip version but sometimes the spray would be more convenient. Do you think it’s the color or scent or a combination that helps the most? I’ve wondered if having the scent without the chartreuse might benefit at times.
Awesome video man 🎣🎣
Thanks man

I appreciate that!!
Maybe one of these days I can make it down from Maryland to one of these fisheries. Wish we had Cyprus trees like that up here.
That was awesome. It was cool to see the original game plan and the change up when the conditions called for it.
What I went to do definitely didnt work out, so a change was necessary for sure. I love throwing a spinnerbait too, so I wasnt complaining!
Always putting great videos out there... keep it up man!
I appreciate it
Good video Kevin. Couldn't help but notice your shoe's, what would be your recommendation for some lightweight rain proof footwear?👍👍👍
Headed your way to Gaston this weekend for a tourney! Looks like I’m gonna be throwing the spinner bait most of the time!
Catch em up!! Be sure to flip the grass on points too
@@GunnFishTV will do sir, thank you!
I been getting em on the buzzbait lately..cant put it down😂
Its the best bite ever!!
@@GunnFishTV one of my top 3 favorites
I'm pretty sure this was on Lake Gaston, but what was the date?

Thanks!!
Spinnerbait for the win. Great video my friend.
What spray are you using on the craw? I’ve got some dip but want to try the spray.

@@small-town-southern-man3573 i honestly think both help but mainly the color
smoked it!
I'm not a biologist but it doesn't seem like it's a good thing to spray and kill the grass near the shoreline of a lake.
Its definitely not
