Nice video man, drone shots really give a good view of just how beautiful it is out at martin head. I usually camp on the Island once a year.
Thank you! Was my first time in the island, after many times at MH. Glad I finally went. Might camp there next time.
Most epic spot! We are here right now. Thanks Virgil.
Awesome!! Enjoy!! Beautiful day for it
C’est vraiment un beau video! Bravo!
Belle province nous avons 👍
Beautiful footage 👍..thanks for sharing Virgil..you're the best.
🙌🏼 thank you!!
It’s my go to spot.
Who says you gotta get on a plane or cruise ship to visit paradise? It’s right here.
Love the way the drone captured the pure beauty of my Martin Head..❤❤❤ we live in Ontario now but we are from Sussex, NB. Just was home in July this year with our Jeep and spent 6 days camping in Martin Head. Love it there. ❤ my happy place. ❤ .
Nice video! Nice meeting you today at west beach.
Thanks man! Was nice to meet and chat with you today too!
I am from Moncton and I never heard about that beautiful place, It's kind of a shame 😁. I am new in the Jeep world 😄. I bought a 4xe last fall and I did not know how much the Jeep community is awesome ✌️
Oh man you are in for a treat then because NB has so much to offer and having a Jeep is the key to it all!! Check out the other videos too to see what amazing places we have to explore here! Feel free to join us as well!
It's an easy drive so you should check it out. Goose Creek Rd will get you down to the beach where they were.
Thank you I will absolutely go ✌️
Very nice video, well done!
Thank you!!
Looks epic, headed that way with the family this July. Can’t wait to see it in person
One of the most stunning places in NB, no doubt!
Wicked drone shots dude! Some of the best ones I've seen for Martin Head.
Thanks!
Love the scenery of the new Fundy Trail Parkway. When I visited in 2019, it's just started the construction.
Stunning video, a gem in our province… well done all
🙌🏼 thanks!
What a great way to start my Saturday morn! Excellent watching this EPIC vid! Thanks for making this vid and showing your friends having a great time. Till next time!
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful video, the area looks incredible!
Thanks! NB is stunning!
klasse video gruss aus deutschland.
Danke! Shöne Grüsse!
Camping out on the island looks like it would be cool.... There are no places left today like this in California. There used to be when I was growing up as a kid, my first drivers licence back in 1976. You folks still have something very special left in today's modern age. "No driving on the beach.... Camping only allowed on designated areas, reservations made six months in advance",,,
NB is pretty much an exception still when it comes to wild camping. Unfortunately a lot of people are irresponsible and trash this place on a regular basis so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before something happens to it. We clean up and practice proper camping / trail etiquette when we go, doing our part in keeping it open and clean.
I've seen this place on some of your earlier videos. A non overlanding question..... Have you ever seen anybody out surfing at the places on the coast you visit? Watching your drone footage!
Yes we’ve been down to Martin Head a few times in the past. I have never seen anyone surf, I don’t think the waves are big enough?! I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem to be a thing.
Very picturesque. Do miss you chatting during your videos tho. Please comment on your locations. I was more engaged when you did
Thanks for the feedback! Will need to work on that!
Savage looks nice on these 35s tyres
Agreed! 🍻
What wheels are you running??
KMC Grenade Crawl Beadlocks
@@NorthBoundExpeditions thanks they look like they hold up really well.
Yes KMC makes great rims, at this price they better hold up! 🤣
Only part way through so far and this video is awesome! Now when you say this is a nice and easy trip...easy enough for a basically stock ram on 33s with no recovery equipment? Haha or is this a bucketlist trip for next year after my mods :)
Thank you!! Yes you can make it down there no problem!
That’s amazing! Thank you!
Stunning video!! I'm planning to drive out there with a friend in my mitsubishi outlander. Would you say the road leading up to the beach is doable for my vehicle?? 8.5" stock height awd w 4x4 lock.
Yes should be fine! Bring an air compressor so you can air down your tires for the sand and air back up once you reach pavement again.
@@NorthBoundExpeditions amazing thank you!!! and how bad will the bushes and paint scrapes be? lol (new sub here :D )
Virgil. Great job with the video. I have a few questions.
I will be going to Martin’s Head in august with a few other people. I will be towing my NOBO 10.5 trailer behind my Jeep. Will I be able to make it down to the beach with trailer?
Also do you think a Sprinter van”revel” would make it to the beach?
Thank you Virgil
Thanks. Yes as long as everyone airs down you will be fine.
As always, please help leaving it better then you found it as there are still lots of people that don’t understand this basic concept. Thanks!
@@NorthBoundExpeditions
Thank you so much brother we will take care of it and leave it better than we found it. I hope I get to meet and ride with you at some point.
Stay safe my friend.
Reggie
In the video, when you left the beach you went through a lengthy water crossing. Was that a different trail than the one you went to the beach on? Just wondering because one of the vehicles going with us is a stock Subaru.
That’s an optional puddle along the main trail
@@NorthBoundExpeditions fantastic thanks again for all your help
Just an Update for May 10th 2023
Went down to Camp early before the the Long weekend and Goose Creek Rd down to the beach has a few large trees down branches have been cut to clear the road but low clearance in a few places. My Grand Cherokee stock Altitude had about a foot and a half of clearance under these tree trunks so watch yourself with lift Kits and roof mounted tents.
Thank you for sharing this update!!
I’ve seen over the years a few people who have brought down large trailers if they try this year they will be very busy with a chainsaw…lol and the road is very washed out. More than previous years. But it’s all part of the Adventure.
Can a stock suv drive there? Do you need a permit or can anyone drive on the beach and camp?
I would not recommend a stock forester to go down there. The descent is very rocky and the trail is rough in many parts. Risk of a tire puncture and insufficient ground clearance would be the main 2 issues. But no permits required. (Yet)
Stock suvs would not have any issues if ya take your time. I been out there lots of times and seen cars out there. Lol not recommended but can be done
Do you have the location of that place we see at 11minutes, thanks in advance
It’s all Martin Head
