I've come to understand that "subconscious aiming" is another way to describe the nature of instinctive shooting. Keep up the great work, James! Love your videos!
I have been shooting my recurve bow off and on for 50 years. Always held canted and even now with limited vision in one eye instinctive shooting is possible. I still prefer aluminum arrows over carbon and so does my bow.
Great video sir! I had question that confusing me. What actually the right thing when training ACCURACY in instinctive, do i need to focus on instinctive ONLY until i had perfect muscle memory to get better accuracy or i need to learn ground archery also to train my accuracy? I love to do fast shooting and need to improve my accuracy. Please help me sir. TQ 🙏
Everyone is different but me personally it really helped knowing instinctive archery before I started speed archery where all I had to worry about was reloading and hitting the target came natural
@@jamesjeantrickshots so the better way to be good in accuracy in instinctive archery is training only in instinctive? Or i need to learn static/ground archery also?
@@pelangimerah87 I mean to get better at instinctive archery quick just do only instinctive but it’s good to explore other aiming techniques as well to see what works best for you
Hi. Love your vids. Im lookeing at a hoyt satori vs gillo gt 19. Ive heard the hoyt is a little less 'forgiving' and the carbon vellos are 'less responsive'. but...I watch you and cant believe that stuff. Can you comment at all on that?
I haven’t personally shot a gillo Gt but I have no complaints with my bow i love it and I love the limbs also its gonna take a lot for me to switch to something else
@@jamesjeantrickshots Thanks! Spent 2 hours shooting the gillo gt 19 vs hoyt satori 21. My take was the satori was more like a sports car and the gillo like a family sedan. pros and cons for both. ended up satori, but with uukha carbon limbs. super happy!

I've always shot like this, didn't know people "aimed" with a bow. Interesting.
