I think it’s incredibly profound and mature as a creator to understand you need to push the envelope but also keep contact with the audience and the community you have carefully curated. I am extremely excited to see how you flourish in this next chapter of your life!

Many moons ago, my fiance recommended your content when I was learning Spanish and French and wanted to show me your approach. My segue to your artistry was through *language*, but now I continue to watch because I love the lens you have on the world and I adore how you and your team work to represent your perspectives. I love how bold you are and how you stay true to authentic practices even when it goes against the grain of what pop culture typically would want from someone in their age bracket. You are fearlessly yourself in light of the greater good. Phenomenal.
I think this is all to say, that I encourage you to take breaks and explore other parts of the world/other industries/other art forms that you are genuinely curious about and implement your new discoveries into your storytelling abilities.
You were interested in language and through this small window I found you, but I stayed because of what you represent as a whole. Stay curious, explore and share if you feel it makes sense. No one can duplicate the complexity of your path and I truly believe there are more curious minds who are waiting to find you with a small little lens you will soon create.

when you first mentioned naming phases of your life it really struck a chord with me, recently I had a significant reflection and decided I'm entering my 'Chapter Five' for very similar reasons, sometimes we just need to intentionally outgrow ourselves to keep our spirits nurtured and fresh and alive :)

I love how you summarized your different phases as a creator in such a simple and elegant way. I'm curious to see how things evolve!!
As a tip, if you feel certain videos would be best consumed in a certain environment (i.e. with headphones not speakers, or in a quiet place and not a café, with a cup of a warm team or with a glass of wine, etc.) please state so at the beginning of the video! Although not everyone will do it, some people will make the effort to do so, which will enhance greatly the feelings you're trying to transmit with your videos, such as being more personal, intimate, and raw.
Hope this makes sense, if not lmk and I'll rephrase! hahaha

I'm quite literally going through a similar process as I type. Just finishing up the TH-cam banner for the rebrand. Whether as a creator or just a human being, we are never stagnate. We all constantly exit and enter new phases of life. Looking forward to your shift Nate. You've been an inspiration to myself and many others.

Now that I am watching this video, I am realizing that I too go through this situation every 1.5-2 years. You are consciously leveling up while my vision for my life forces me to see that there is no other way but to change things up. And no matter how uncertain and unknown and scary it feels, once I know that I have to move on to this new path I can't unsee it. I have to do it. Maybe that's how life is.

You’re so wise beyond your years and I’ve found so many of your videos helpful throughout the years, from the first video I saw “people feeling behind in life” to self help, to your videos of Paris that gave me the idea to visit there on my most recent holiday, to even your dads channel. I have the exact same experience with change in my life and how it seems to happen every 1/1,5 years. Its like I try really hard to choose something which seems to align with my current values and emotional disposition and to try and stay in it for as long as possible. But then comes that 1,5 year mark and TADA I've got to change no matter what 😅 This would deeply frustrate me because I felt it showed a certain disatisfaction or restleness. This year however I had decided to get closer and curious with myself and let things flow and be more accepting of this rythm of change. We all have seasons and there are certainly reasons for that.
Your complete embracing of your chapters and your hopefull storytelling of those different seasons in your creative endeavours help me to realise that there are teachings which happen in all those moments of movement (even if they feel like pure chaos sometimes). We are a leaf in the wind which comes to rest in some places before being blown away again to the next adventure. Thank you for that!

Love it Nathan. Love the 4:3 aspect ratio - definitely export in 4:3 rather than within 16:9 and it'll come up bigger on monitors that are less widescreen (like a mackbook pro) and not compromise what people see on a wider screen (like a phone!)
Its good to have a number of alternative ways to go in your work as the world is getting more unsettled and fractured all the time. And something like TH-cam could be shut down,closed at the whim of i dont know who,but powerful peopie. We live in strange times.
You,Nathaniel,are one of those people gifted with a mature insight into human nature (even when you were younger).
I think a LOT of life is totally beyond our control or choice. More than we think.

This couldn't have been timed anymore perfectly. Yesterday. I went through all of my TH-cam subscriptions and unsubscribed from tons of channels. When I came upon your 2 channels. Amazing. Can't wait to see what you do. Small suggestion though the old self help type videos really helped me. I can even say changed my life for the better. The cold shower, meditation, north star, journaling, language learning type videos. Try to incorporate those styles or related topics in your new cinematic intimate type videos. Can be about your learning process to make more cinemstic videos, can be about travel not just typical self help. Best of luck to you bro.

Really hope that Nathaniel gets here on the curve because what I really appreciated about the videos or essays was how carelessly yet so artistically beautiful they sound and look and not like the modern era of content where it is with thousands on thousands of fast edits and cuts to stimulate

I found you during Nathaniel 1.0 & it was much needed content at the time for me. I enjoyed having more content regularly at the time because I was looking for inspiration & seeing productive people + the questions you were asking & topics you were exploring at the time really helped taking me out of my routine & want to do more things too.
But nowadays I enjoy not knowing when your next video is too. It’s like a little surprise & I get super excited. It’s also super reassuring to me when you get into a new phase aha I feel like I’m allowed too 🙈
Besides, your phase 3 helped me love Paris again & want to explore it more since I’m not sure I’ll stick around (I live near Versailles) once I’m done with my professional reconversion. It was what let me realize I was taking the city for granted.
So all that to say … I’m not going anywhere and I can’t wait for the future content you have under your hat.
