I think it's due in part to the fact that TH-cam gives these videos the AV1 codec. Most TH-cam videos only get AVC/H.264, which gives you a lot less compression-bang-for-your-buck.

Yeah. There's many videos on TH-cam that's says "4k" or "8k" but really looks like 2.5k. In this channel 4k is 4k
