@@KrisMcDredI just started my second loc Journey and your locks are amazing if I may ask what are you using and how long should my hair be before I interlock
I’m just starting my loc journey and have been vacillating between retwisting or interlocking. The more I research, interlocking seems more for me. Thanks so much for the video Brotha ✌🏾 ❤
I just recently switch from retwist to interlocking I want to wash my hair more frequently and I like the interlock style more better I don’t have to worry bout my retwist not lasting long and I just recently went back to my stylist and she did it for me and I was happy with the interlock look
I've transitioned from palm rolls to interlocking and then back to palm rolls again because I wanted my small locs to expand a bit. Now I'm working out again and need to switch back. Ugg. Should never have changed. But be aware that there will be breakage over time when you switch.
He aint lyin yall!!! I just bought my interlockin tool, whoever invented this is a goddamn genius!!! It's totally worth the money, not to mention it's cheap as hell. Do it, yo life will change.
Think I will transition from retwists to interlocking 😊 it’s almost been 7 weeks since I started my loc journey and gels irritate my scalp and cause a ton of dandruff, interlocking seems better and convenient should i start interlocking from now on then?
You shouldn't be washing your hair that often...Interlocking is NOT good for everyone you are literally knotting your hair which can damage and break the hair..You need strong and thick locs for that
Literally millions of women interlock or have sister locs around the world. Whether you retwist, interlock or free form your locs they will be susceptible to breakage if NOT maintained properly. I’m going on 4 years with mine which I diyed & haven’t lost one yet 🙏🏾 I re-tie interlock my roots every 5-6 weeks.
I have been interlocking for 20 years. My locs reach the top of my butt. No matter what you do, you have to keep your hair healthy. And, it is not tying knots, it weaving your hair’s new growth 😊
ok, I just wanted to acknowledge this beautiful man. He looks like a merman, or like...an angel idk
Thank you
As a straight heterosexual man I can actually see what you meen

I feel you 🙌🏽
I don’t really like the appearance of a retwist. Is it okay to interlock only? I like to maintain every 6 weeks or so
I interlock mine and iv been washing it in the shower since day one, feels great
So once u inlock once no need to do it again?
@@humble378you can do it again just give it time ,before you interlock because you don’t want to weaken your loc.
Yeah @@humble378 I'm interested too
I'm interested too
Omg 😳 you are absolutely everything, yeah
I love it. I go every 6 months. Gonna try every 4
I appreciate your ways mr
the reason im getting dreads is because of the washing, my head gets oily far too quick and retwisting takes so much time every week

I want to learn how to interlocking so I can do my own.
😊🖤🖤Thank you Kris!
Please your location
Where are you located? I have never let anyone do anything to my locs. But I would try you out sir.

Yes I did mine last week and it's the best decision I made don't have to worry about build up or your locs unraveling it stays in place💯
@@KendrickHaleythank you for replying bc that was a question I had too.👍🏾👍🏾
I WOULD LOVE TO INTERLOCK MY HAIR, BUT AFRAID OF SOMEONE NOT KNOWING HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY .
I'm starting my son s locks I started with plats
How can you interlock just the tips .. my hair has old permed tips .. what do I do ?
Maybe get the end crocheted?🤷
Just cut the tips💀 or crochet needle
Can your interlocks thicken up?
Yes but how much depends on the rotation you do. I do 2 point rotation and the locs aren't as compact as they would be compared to a 4 point rotation
@@horizonrising3216thanks 👍
That was my concern too i dont want my locs to be skinny
Benefit not Benefits. Offered 1 thing.
