I feel so bad for both of them. Sody’s entire life has been thrown into a loop now know everything he thought was his own doing was actually due to Chikns influence. Thats a lot to handle, but at the same time its jot fully Chikns fault. You can tell for most of this series chikn didn’t know about his powers. Sure he was doing some weird stuff but his friends were doing it too. He had no clue it was because he was giving them the ability to do so…
This is so well written. Sody's character is impulsive, irrational, and also the fact that he's a child. His irritated reaction is reasonable, I'm glad they didn't went to the "i understand you completely and i forgive you even though i don't understand it completely". It feels more realistic, something that a child would say after hearing such a groundbreaking thing. And all that without Sody insulting Chikn once. Incredible.

Sody is young and tries his best to control his anger while also giving Chikn a peek into his feelings and self-doubt. Learning that all the cool things you thought was your doing and made you unique and special in a world where magic and demons exist is controlled by your friend. It currently doesn't matter to him if they had any control or knowledge about it. Sody needs time to understand, accept and heal from this overwhelming development. Hes trying his best but its hard for both of them.

Don’t worry too much, Chikn… I know what it’s like to be an outcast to most, to actually be the one holding the weirder kids friend groups together with my silly chaos… (but otherwise my friend group would fight on and off about dating and whatnot that i’m not interested or fluent in) I’m like a demi-staff member with my ideas i give the school principal and I’m there for him and I try to respect everyone, but i feel like very few people are supporting me in return… I start to feel lonelier the more i learn about myself and my small, silly world i once called a chance-based reality.
It's interesting that the youngest of the main cast is the one who's having an existential crisis. Seeing Sody's serious side is something I don't think any of us expected.
Nobody ever understands the weight on chikins shoulders Though he has to keep this reality in place before his own selfish desire but he never realizes it
Something that I have noticed about this Chikn Nugget lore is that it parallels somewhat to how Steven from Steven Universe Future dealt with his mental trauma until the very last breaking point, becoming a 'monster' form of himself and breaking down as a result of his meltdown. Chikn is inevitably going to end up like Steven, due to not having any support from any of his friends, and his conflict with Sody Pop only adds more fuel to the fire. He WILL have his breaking point arc, and he will inevitably become his "final form", due to subconsciously pushing everyone away and feeling like he can’t confide in anyone until it is far too late. Hopefully when that happens his friends and Chee can save possibly save him, since everything started with Chee pushing him away unintentionally.
Yup, the parallel can be seen and felt. To be honest though, I feel like it'll spiral down much further then steven universe simply due to the fact that: Boh french fwy and Slushi seem to acknowledge something is going on but not taking any steps yet.. Ice cream seems to still be unaware. Chee/Cofi are unaware of it. (Though Chee has felt the effects of chikin's mind powers without knowing it. Bezel knows and is slowly but subtly pushing chikin to that limit of chaos he once was..(this has been foreshadowed before) And now sody pop is reacting in this manner upon learning their 'powers' were a result of chikin unconsciously giving it to them. Which based on this, it feels like chikin is going to isolate themselves further to a breaking point unless someone does something. So..yeah...lets see what happens...
I agree with the other comments! This was well made. It is realistic for Sody's character to be unaccepting of this new information, yet he is also able to express when he needs something for himself, like space. Amazing job!
I assume he did the same with his mother. Because they both could do it. But she is an adult and she still didn't find it strange or suspicious of anything that could be happening with her and her son.
I just realized that the “I need space, and don’t think that means I want you to teleport me to the moon” could be a reference to one of the first episodes, where chikin did just that
It's the episode where Chikn said "I want space" and Chee stays back for him thinking that he wants some space, and he teleported both him and Chee to the space

I really do hope hawt sauz is the only one who stays with chikn, since chikn supported hawt sauz in his mission on becoming nicer.
This made me so sad when I first watched it :(
Something that I have noticed about this Chikn Nugget lore is that it parallels somewhat to how Steven from Steven Universe Future dealt with his mental trauma until the very last breaking point, becoming a 'monster' form of himself and breaking down as a result of his meltdown.
Chikn is inevitably going to end up like Steven, due to not having any support from any of his friends, and his conflict with Sody Pop only adds more fuel to the fire. He WILL have his breaking point arc, and he will inevitably become his "final form", due to subconsciously pushing everyone away and feeling like he can’t confide in anyone until it is far too late. Hopefully when that happens his friends and Chee can save possibly save him, since everything started with Chee pushing him away unintentionally.

Yup, the parallel can be seen and felt. To be honest though, I feel like it'll spiral down much further then steven universe simply due to the fact that:
Boh french fwy and Slushi seem to acknowledge something is going on but not taking any steps yet..
Ice cream seems to still be unaware.
Chee/Cofi are unaware of it. (Though Chee has felt the effects of chikin's mind powers without knowing it.
Bezel knows and is slowly but subtly pushing chikin to that limit of chaos he once was..(this has been foreshadowed before)
And now sody pop is reacting in this manner upon learning their 'powers' were a result of chikin unconsciously giving it to them.
Which based on this, it feels like chikin is going to isolate themselves further to a breaking point unless someone does something.
So..yeah...lets see what happens...

I just realized that the “I need space, and don’t think that means I want you to teleport me to the moon” could be a reference to one of the first episodes, where chikin did just that
It's the episode where Chikn said "I want space" and Chee stays back for him thinking that he wants some space, and he teleported both him and Chee to the space

This has to be absolutely devastating for Chikn. The thing he fears the most has already happened, not to mention the way Sody treated him when he realized the truth.

As many have commented, sody is taking the situation actually pretty well. Didn't insult chikin or say they aren't friends or anything the sort, just said they wanted space which is completely fair and understandable. And sody is still a child so you can't blame them for acting how they dom it could've been worse

Seeing possibly the literal child being the one of the first to really start questioning the reality they live in and react like this is honestly terrifying. Sody never questioned anything he did, despite him causing some of the most random chaos that this show displays. Seeing him lose his optimism and childlike wonder is heartbreaking.
