    Whilst I can never see myself getting into pouring silver myself, let alone stamping it, this video did give me an interesting insight into a world that I know very little about. Thanks for posting!

    As with everyone I have messed up and had to repour soooo many pieces as I messed them up when stamping. Very frustrating when it happens.I found the hardest thing is to it at the right height and the lighting to be huge issues.Great post today fella. Take care my friend.

    never stamp on your kitchen table naked. that's when the authorities start getting involved.

    Awesome video! I call them noise canceling headphones, but it always fun to see the different names people have for things

    Don't you want to try minting coins? Hand hammered rounds and medals might be a nice way to diversify your product line.

    Excellent video! I just started pouring1 ounce silver bars and silver rounds. There's not a lot of "room" to stamp, plus add a logo. What size stamps do you think I should use? Thank you.

    @Backyard Bullion I’m wondering which size stamps to get, I’ve seen 1.5mm, 2mm, and 3mm. I’m not sure which one I should get to start

    Hey BYB, just curious, what's your thoughts on hand poured gold? Ever thought about it? Is there a market for it?

    • @BackyardBullion
      @BackyardBullion  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly cannot see a market for it - the sheer price of the pieces would be impractical - a 1 oz gold bar would be half the size of a 1 oz silver bar any cost $1300 rather than $25. Just not practical I think!

    Does gold and silver always form that distinctive ripple? I've seen multiple videos about making gold/silver and it always produces that ripple

    This is not how to hold a hammer. You paid for the whole handle! Grab it at the end of the handle! It will give you much better leverage, and then only one firm hit will easily be enough.

      But you have a lot less control, control is key.
