I only buy lucky craft lures if they're on sale. There's a bargain outlet near me called Ollie's and they usually have a ton of lucky craft hard baits for like $6 or $7. Hell of a deal really.
I didn't even realize Lucky Craft was considered a high end brand, I just always see them at Ollie's and never hear anyone talking about them. Rather than buy them full price, I'd say most people are better off getting a middle of the road bait and upgrading hooks
Super useful tackle hack: When you unbox new lures, keep an ultra fine sharpie and a bottle of nail polish on hand. As you unbox your crankbaits, you can write the diving depth and weight on the belly or the bill. For baits with lead heads (jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, etc), I put a small spot of nail polish, usually red, for every 1/8oz of weight. So a 1/2 jig will have 4 small spots on the head... That way I know the weights of everything as I'm fishing and changing lures.
I fish the Duo spybait. Just cast it out and let it fall on slack line. You can count it down to your desired depth about a foot a second, then just painfully slowly retrieve it in.
As I stare at an oversized box full of plastics, knowing that I don't need any more, you are making is very difficult to not buy more... Well done sir... I thank you, my bank account curses you.
Great Box of goodies my friend and the Lucky Craft Lures are made very well in a small facility in Japan unlike the massive Berkeley Factory in CHINA not really better Lures just more crying when you lose one lol. I’m not sure what Lures are actually made in the States anymore and I know when I started Fishing in the late 70’s EVERYTHING was made in the USA I was using lol. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis

I have loads and loads of different brands high quality and low quality always nice to try different brands but Sierra and Ollie’s by me always I mean always have amazing deals I go at least 2 times a week so that’s how I branch out normally I just fish 6th

I learned the majority of the spy bait fishing techniques from the tactical bassin video. I realize saying that could basically apply to every technique fished from on the water.

Cool video. I buy a lot of glide and swimbaits so once you make the turn down that particular street a $15 crankbait isn’t a big deal when you’re dropping $250+ on a chadshad or something similar. Anyone else made the mistake of ordering a rod from tackle warehouse lately.??? I ordered one 3/2 and still haven’t received it yet. I know they’re slammed but still it’s pretty ridiculous.
Why would you swap out mustad hooks??? Strike king hard baits have the kvd elite series treble hooks and are one of ghe best on the market lol just curious why you say swap out those hooks.
@@retflo2583 I have no idea what you mean. I have dozens of strike king lures and all have mustad black nickle hooks. Many are the kvd elite series hooks. Strike king and mustad have had a contract for probably 15 to 20 years lol. You may be mistaking strike king for strike pro or some other company idk or very old strike king lures 🤷♂️

I do this but im a firm believer that all bait companies should do that at the assembly line. Some companies do but i really think all should.
