sims show that Magmortar with a shield advantage obliterates clodsire/gatr, otherwise it gets owned if shields are even. I wanna test it out in my sets tomorrow, thanks for your comment :D any ideas on what to run with it?
@@kja1217, Karate Chop is the fast move you want on Magmortar. Since Clodsire and Feraligatr are everywhere in this meta, run Scorching Sands and legacy Thunderbolt because that will give you coverage against that core. Hitting both of them for super effective damage.
I’m loving jumpluff. Core breaks a lot of teams. Vs a swampert venasaur victreebell. Went through 2.5 of their mons without swapping out before they eventually resigned
Been using dewgong on the lead with drifblim and trailblaze ariados in the back. Had a ton of luck today until the algo got me in my final set of the day. Also had some losses due to lag which feels amazing...
Off topic but Ariados is OP in this meta. I just one shotted a Malamar with Lunge and ran straight here 🤣 Trailblaze on the ground types/gatr adds a lot of pressure as well.
I haven’t watched the video yet but yeah, I’d say shadow jumpluff and shadow golurk have been my favorite pokemon to run this season. Jumpluff does well into so many things and can typically tank one ice charge move.
I safe swapped my gong against a basti and homeboy stayed too long where I landed a drill run and my jumpluff was able to clean it out at the end. Basti isn't what it used to be
Hey Henry, is the shadow that much better than the regular? I don’t have a shadow jumpluff so I’m unsure if I should build my non-shadow or save my resources
If you run the sims, in the one shield the non shadow picks up 4 wins but only loses two. So not sure how the ranking are decided. But non shadow actually gets more wins in the one shields
Man...I'm in serious doubt when it comes to take away a legacy move like Acrobatis. You really think to a non-shadow Aerial Ace is really necessary? Ppl don't respect the possibility of Acrobatics sometimes...and it hits hard.
Magmortar is a super spicy core breaker to Clodsire and Feraligatr. Karate Chop, Thunderbolt, and Scorching Sands.
Ah yes a core breaker that gets one-shot by both and loses all evens versus both
Damn i got a 0 15 15 shiny magmoratar but its ultra league😢

@@kyledillard my bad, I wasn’t clear in my comment but I meant to ask what mons you would use on a team with Magmortar

Sludge wave on swampert could be the move in this meta
As close of a game as one can be
Both of us on 1 HP
But it’s the Mandibuzz that reigns supreme

If you hated skarmory, get ready for Corviknight this season 😂
Oh yeah. That could absolutely happen.
What fastmoves does it learn though? Pretty sure steel wing would still make it irrelevant
knowing niantic they will nerf him before he arrives, or make it regional, they hate flying types, specially if theyre good on pvp...
Still can’t believe they nerfed a CD fast move into the ground. Every Smack Down T-tar should receive an Elite Fast TM when they TM it away.
Same with counter for poliwrath
4:59 I'm so glad you feel the same about WallFace(bastiodon)
Boooo this comment by HSH hurts my soul
@4:20 The opponent ostensibly has as much dust as I do. 😂

ABA to air slash Skarm? My homie please
😂😂😂
Ok but being realistic who would use that?

I was using this core and in my first set I saw someone still using skarm and I facepalmed, still won though 👌
I think most people are running clodsire in the back so gastrodon leads are getting crapped on a bit
Off topic but Ariados is OP in this meta. I just one shotted a Malamar with Lunge and ran straight here 🤣

Dam so did I build my regular jumpluff for no reason? Is shadow just better

I ran a similar team but with Aurorus instead of Dewgong and with normal Jumpluff w/Acrobatics
Seeing that Bastiodon having to go down a shield against Dewgong was just glorious!
I safe swapped my gong against a basti and homeboy stayed too long where I landed a drill run and my jumpluff was able to clean it out at the end. Basti isn't what it used to be
Shadow Cacturne with sucker punch, trailblaze and dynamic punch is my core breaker 😅 with azu and shadow venasaur
Im surprised they nerfed smack down after buffing grounds and grasses lol
Ive been seeing way too much talonflame to run a team like this
Put feraligator on the lead and you will never see another one
Does blue or pink gastrodon matter?
Altaria sighting?
Nice, I'll build my shadow XL Jumpluff after this video. So much fun! ❤
So the regular jumpluff is not ok?
Jumpluff miltank empoleon is really good

Gunfisk giving me ptsd of early glb
How do i replace gastrodon in this team?
Shadow kanto marowak! (The pure ground type)
Thats unfortunate i do not own any marowak only the fire one @HomeSliceHenry I recently build a shadow plurf but don't know who to use with it

Pacing and bait potential is worth imo. Imagine being stuck in the feraligatr matchup with acrobatics.
Try gastrodon lead, alolan marowak safe swap and walrein closer
Any tips? Currently using Azumarill, Skarmory, Alolan Marowak
tip: don't.
1 Tip don’t use skarmory 💪🏻
Clodsire and toxapex are making my life imposible cause’ I want to run lurantis + jumpluff
When’s the furret vid dropping?
Basti sucks but carbink just slid right into its spot, if not more annoying
yo Henry. It is 444444444 lol or its supposed to be but its broken if your phone doesn't run perfect 😅 i got it on cam making 2 brutals on 7 ugh
Why corsola?? I have a rank one for great league
For fun! It's not good, but I like the Pokémon, so I'm maxing it :)
@@HomeSliceHenrywait for galarian corsola! Save the xls!!!
@HSH nice Rank 1 Gastrodon 🫡
Thanks!
Been thrashing all the jumpluff teams. RIP to all the ppl who used stardust on it.
