I fly down from the Sunshine Coast every year for the first game at Leichhardt.
On the weekend i was fortunate enough to get to watch the Panthers game from the comfort of the Royce Simmons vip lounge on then even more fortunate to get to watch the Tigers game from the hill at Leichhardt.
Give me the Leichhardt Hill any day of the week, thats no gripe on the Royce vip lounge either, i just prefer the atmosphere and charm of Leichhardt oval and ill happily pay for it.
It cost me and my wife $0 to be in the Royce's vip lounge, complementary food and drinks and a comfy seat.
But footy aint about that!!! you can't compare the two experiences, Leichhardt hill wins by the length of the Flemington straight.
There's a reason why i fly down from qld every year to watch footy on the hill at Leichhardt, i know what the lines are like, i know what the facilities are like and i LOVE IT!!!
Just look at the crowd that turns up, true fans don't care, we love watching footy at Leichhardt!!!
The only people complaining are the Leichhardt rookies and they'll learn how to navigate the place, if you think you can rock up 5 mins before the game and get a beer and a good spot then you'll quickly learn for next time.
Here's a tip, find a nearby pub, fill up there, get a feed, get to the ground a bit early, grab a tray of 4 beers, find your spot, you won't need to get in the beer or a food line for the rest of the game, enjoy 👍

Yes. They can do cheap do up. Get that house show out there do a job. The block. And Campbelltown. It's a huge advantage playing games in the actual town you represent
Pie, chips, Pepsi at Leichhardt Oval is $18.50 not $34.00. Something wrong there.
The NRL TV Rights are sold for millions of dollars a year. Tickets to NRL matches are extremely expensive. Let the NRL and the West Tigers for for their Stadium upgrades. It's not the job of the Taxpayer to fund these Businesses. The Penrith Taxpayer upgrades to the Stadium is an absolute disgrace.

No more Taxpayers money for Stadiums. The NRL Clubs generate more than enough money to pay for their own upgrades. Wests charage the fans $55 to stand on a hill that is just plain greedy.
