Knives are good if they are all one piece of steel. As long as you sharpen and hone them you’re good to go. Also DT has Betty Crocker brand kitchen shears that are really good quality
I need to go to Ollie’s although it ain’t big! 😬 I am from the south so of course I make great iced tea. I have a process down and my secret ingredient, which ain’t actually so secret, is baking soda. It removes that super tannic taste from your tea and makes it taste more smooth. I also add it to my coffee for the same reason. And any of the flavored hot teas I drink. Well and any tomato based sauce. It removes that super acidic thing that happens with tomato based sauces, soups, etc. It lowers the ph. Why I know this random info I have not one clue? 😬 😂 💕
Knives? I made a really big decision and purchased Cutco. The company has been around forever. They were expensive but they have a lifetime guarantee. When they get dull you send them to the company and they sharpen them for free. No shipping costs. I have a few ceramic ones that are great for fruit and veggies ❤️. Food containers are not a bargain when they are too small ❤. I’ve never seen an Ollie’s. I’m guessing my husband wouldn’t tell me if he has seen one bc I would spend forever in there ❤️❤️❤️
Brandi, you don't need new knives, you need your's sharpened. My Dad sharpens knives (used to professionally make them) for people out here in the sticks. 😂
