I think it's a way to get some talent together with good equipment without it having to be on their own dime and them having to make it their whole livelihood. It's hard to pull that off independently, but attach it to a budget and that solves a lot of problems. Negative comments about drummer are simply wrong. The drummer on this video is excellent, as good as the rest of this band. Run a metronome with the video, and you'll see that the drummer keeps the beat perfectly.

the drums sound shallow, the original mix of the drums is super punchy and epic, the drummer here does most of the actual hits but the sound mixing in the show is what makes it sound empty and that goes to all instruments

A lot of y'all like to use the fact that Jesus hung out with tax collectors as an excuse. Jesus didn't just hang with them alone, no. He was a positive influence. He told Matthew- "Follow me". Sure he ate with him but there was an end game. There's a difference between hanging out with a stripper because you want to be a positive influence on their life and playing Van Halen to the people who you're supposed to minister songs of grace to. It's not the same. Jesus would have hung out with Eminem because he like he did with the publicans, he'd want Eminem to follow him. Hanging out with them without purposefully and patiently letting God use you to influence their life positively is basically a waste of time. Don't take one part of the scripture and leave out the other. That being said, remember when people were selling in the temple and Jesus over-turned their tables and took them out of the temple? God's house shall be a place of prayer. God inhabits the praise of his people, how does singing about being dead inside spur your fellow Christian brothers to praise God?
I mean, I love Muse and that's why I'm here, but doesn't it seem kinda weird to leverage the resources, people, place, and equipment dedicated to worship to play worship-agnostic cover songs? idk maybe it's just me, but I don't think God really cares about high-end stage lights, fog machines, VFX, or unrelated contemporary rock. This was good cover! However, this should not be played in a church. It's absolutely disrespectful to play a secular song in the house of God. The song isn't worshipping God. +drummer nation yeah she kept the beat but her performance was poor. She could add sounds. It was just incomplete (for me)
The overall tempo was ok, but she was late on several beats and her rythm was uneven.
