I slot a fair amount and usually stick in the $1 to $2.50 range unless I am on a roll. I see and experience 100x and 200x bonuses enough at that level that I would think it wouldn't be surprising at your bets.... that you would expect and see a ton of hand pays regularly. I find that when I am betting $2.50 or so on penny slots I am more likely to get 200-500x wins but it bonuses less. On the games with $15/$20 bets it seems to bonus a little more frequently but it's really rare to get over 200x wins. I think they do it to avoid paying massive hand pays all the time. So I am still excited when I get a $3,000 win on a $20 bet because that's the most you can hope for. It might just be my experience but it's consistent across casinos.
I once won 10 grand on a dollar machine when I was down to my last 6 bucks. Got mad cuz I had lost it so quickly and just smashed the max bet for the last 2 spins. Next hit was a jackpot. Watching all these big winners, I realize how extraordinarily lucky and rare I was that day. Lmao
