I live in Australia, too far in land to hear any waves, but every year I go camping on the coast, the best sleep of my life. I feel like you can even feel the waves crashing in some sense, it's an amazing experience and feeling that I miss whenever I'm 'home', The coast is my true home... one day I'll get a coastal house... one day...
Love this, it’s hard to find a video of the oceans waves crashing…as they do..no loops, no music or white noise added, no fake audio…etc! I use this almost every night to help me sleep! It’s fact that it’s genuine, so I can relax and escape there myself, that helps put me to sleep, and I have awful insomnia. Thanks so much for uploading this! Will check out your other videos. I just used it to help explain to a young student, who has never seen the ocean, what Bruce meant when he said: "... water can crash..." as we were working on the technique called "the vertical fist". Again, clean video, clear and resonate sound and NO superfluous Bull-beans. Again, Thx😀
This is my favourite crashing waves video. It also gives a great visual as to why white crested waves are called 'white horses', if you watch the distant white topped waves coming in they do resemble a herd of white horses galloping across the sea. AND it's not a cheating 'loop'!

I love watching the different sequences of the waves, and this one is my favourite because it's looking straight at the waves so I get the full effect of the white froth when the wave breaks...it's my bedtime lullabye!

When I was four or five years old, I liked to look at the sea from our house (exact scene) in Nha Trang, VN. Now I am 85. Your picture brings back many memories to me and I miss the place where I grew up, where I played on the beach building sand castle and chasing after tiny little crabs before they get down into their holes...
Where is this? Looks like southern California where I grew up. But I see you mentioned it was a "very sunny December day, it was an exception" so that rules out SoCal! : ))
