I have always said Band Maid can able to play any style or genres that they want and always sound like Band Maid. But Band Maid is not a style or formula. Band Maid is a sound. They are the most adorable musical bad asses on the planet.

That Shredding guitar Solo is insane. Flawless Victory. My God Kanami is seriously among my Favorite guitarists and i know Like The Best of the Best of the Past 40 years.
Nice reaction. Great song. Blooming one of my favs with Puzzle. Love Kanamis solos here and her epic solo in Puzzle. The break down with harmonizing vocals is beautiful. Moratorium is another favorite song of theirs, the crowd interaction is incredible. They were here in Grammercy in NY in 2019. Kanami in interviews is a bit shy, but a guitar in hand on stage, wow. She has said Carlos Santana, Larry Carlton are influences, and she had a beautiful tribute to EVH in tweet, saying she loved his phrasing, and tapping.

A friend of mine suggested I watch a Baby Metal video as I like rock music and Anime. I was like "okay I liked the fusion of those two things". Then I saw a thumbnail on the TH-cam page for Thrill and after that I was hooked. The more I watched the band, about the band and listened to the music it became more about the members and their musical genius than the maid outfits or how cute they look as young women. In 30 years of listening to rock music I can say without any hesitation they are the future of hard rock.

Personally I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest if all-girl bands dominated the musical industry for the next decade. These ladies these days have something to say and they have been kept on the fringe for too long. This generation isn't having it. They are younger and younger every year. Have you seen The Warning's Enter Sandman cover yet. Seven years ago it went viral and who knows how many girls said I could do that. Perhaps one of these? Really I agree with you 100% except I didn't know any of the two "fan-clubs" you mentioned in the front. But I get it. I am both a fan of The Warning and Angelina Jordan, two rival "nations". I don't know why, especially women, are surprised or amazed that female guitarists are as good or better than a man. There is nothing manly about playing an instrument. It makes me sad every time I hear comments like that. Kanami is a good gutitarist. Not because she is a woman, but because she is good at playing guitar.

@@JustJenRx Nja, in Japan women has always played instruments. Nothing strange about that. Western rock music however is something else. The only thing that makes it more difficult for a woman is that small people have smaller hands and that makes playing advanced harder. Asians are smaller in general and electric guitars are built for western male's size hands. I stopped playing guitar since in my band, the other guitarist had so long fingers that I just could not follow him. Still, my fingers are probably longer than Kanamis, and hearing her play I have no excuse for quitting.

Good sound just wish they were more aggressive with their sound. To me their instruments seem to clean for me. I enjoy the sound to where I get pumped.
