Annie’s song by Catherine Anderson is one of my favourite romances with disability. Catherine Anderson wrote many books with a hero or heroine having a disability.
Without words is a book written by Ellen O’Connell. To this day it is one of my favorite books. It is about a post-Civil War man who’s becomes a bounty hunter and meets a mute women who is left destitute. The love and character development of each character is simply awesome. I love Ellen O’Connor‘s books.
Oh yes I really like this book too! I love Ellen O‘Connell‘s books. They are so atmospheric - it always feels like your‘re right there with the characters. But my favorite book of hers is Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold. So fantastic
I'd highly recommend reading Heartless before Silent Melody (by Mary Balogh). You see more of the build up to Silent Melody, and also Heartless is just fantastic. Balogh excels at complex and emotional back stories. I love LOVE The Survivors' Club series, and The Arrangement is probably my favorite of that series. (The scenes with his family smothering and babying him are so painful but good.)
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend “Sin of Silence” by Nikita Slater. It is a mafia trilogy with a nonverbal hero and is also interracial bwwm romance. It is so so good!!❤❤
I added to your rec form the silent Duke. And it is one of my favorite books ever! The hero is speechless and also a virgin. He's the biggest sweet heart and the heroine is bad ass and empowering 😍 but I'll be adding some of these as well
I highly recommend the Murder Sprees and Mute Decrees series by Jennifer Cody. One of the heroes is mute (obvs) and sassy! The first book sent me down the Jennifer Cody rabbit hole and now I am a rabid fan.
I highly recommend Sick Heart by J A Huss. It's a darker romance about a MMA fighter who has to fight to the death and he's nonverbal. This is a must read. I'm adding it to your rec form now.
I enjoy your book reviews! I want to recommend a series where the H has a family genetic hearing disorder that results in becoming deaf, Fighting Silence (On The Ropes Book 1) by Aly Martinez
