Excellent. My 3X a week MMA training stopped around age 65. Heart attacks diabetes arthritis... too many ailments. Headed for the Caribbean where I can't carry- this is exactly what I needed.
    Thank you thank you.

Thanks Steve. I have a client in the Caribbean sailing this week with his wife. He is in the same boat as far as what he can use for self defense. He is in his 70s and I train him on a lot of stick self defense. Sticks are everywhere!

Hi Matt, i wasn't able to locate the "thanks" button. Also, i just wanted to say thanks again reminding me on the necessity of hydrating. So many people don't understand the process of dehydrating and how it affects the body. Great class. Take care and God bless.

Thanks Doug. I had a heat exhaustion episode in the marine corps at infantry school. It messed me up for years!!!! Just getting hot would cause massive anxiety until I broke a sweat. Stay safe!

@@pasquinilli Thank you Matt for all the info you share with us. Especially those things that may not directly involve martial arts or self defense, but most importantly make us better people.

Finally Matt, is your preference on the end of the stick flat or rounded? I prefer the flat, especially when thrusting to the facial area. I believe it makes more contact, and the flat edge can deliver a cutting wound. Thanks for your reply.

I'm still plugging along. With the warmer weather, I'm doing more bo and cane stuff. I'm having some back pains. I'll see my chiropractor this week and ask her what's happening. I hope that won't derail anything. My wrist rolls are still just wrist drops. My finger rolls are getting a little better. I tend to do finger rolls whenever I'm too tired to do something more vigorous. I'll just stand there finger rolling whatever is available until I can catch my breath enough to continue.
