It feels contentious for me to weigh in, but here are my thoughts:
    1. Sunak - fairly boring, but it's also timeless, simple and somehow kind of modern too
    2. Johnson - I don't love it, but it's inoffensive and feels like the lectern you'd get by default if you forgot to choose one from the catalogue
3 - Cameron - I think it was probably good at the time, but it feels pretty dated now. The shade of wood & the curves feel very early 2000s at this point
4 - May - It's just too skinny, it worries me
5 - Truss - Some people seem to like it, but I think it's just way too complex for a lectern. It's kind of distracting and not in a fun way, just an ugly way (sorry to everyone who likes it)

1 - Rishi. Simple but quite nice. It looks well-balanced.
2 - Cameron. His lectern looks hilariously like a cartoon villain's! But at least it's interesting as well as seeming like a serious design.
Joined 2 - Boris. It just... kinda suits him... idk.
    3. Theresa. I very much agree that it looks flimsy and awfully unbalanced.
Last- Liz. It's interesting, to be sure! But it looks like someone had too much fun on an art project, rather than it being a serious design for a lectern.

The twisting geometric complexity- a thousand little cubes slotted together with the greatest of precision. The sheer number of hours put into this thing, you can really tell this was made with pride. Not only a highly commendable lectern, but a sheer feat of human ingenuity. 11/10

I actually like Theresa May’s podium as it’s very no frills. If I were PM I’d opt to go podiumless, and either pace around with a mic comedian style or drag out a comfy chair and fake fireplace and have a chat (neither would go over well, but I’d love to poke fun of how the press conferences are sort of up themselves)

Looks amazing I wish it stuck around more but it was way more satisfyingly politic that it didn't. And the new ones practical nested 3D design looks fantastic and appeals to one of my favorite artistic sensibilities.

    1. Truss - crazy but stylish
    2. Sunak - so on brand it hurts
    3. Johnson - very modern gammon
    4. May - too practical, not surprising from someone who considered running through a field of wheat is the wildest thing she has done
    5. Cameron - trying to hard to be relevant
