The homeland of the monster is the jungles of Central America. This group of evergreen tropical lianas received its colorful name due to its impressive size. Even in indoor conditions, the monster often stretches several meters. Therefore, it is best to grow monstera in spacious offices, foyers and halls. Although the adventitious aerial roots of the plant can attach to the wall, a fast-growing monstera needs props.
Special plastic props wrapped with dry palm fiber, which are used for the monster, are on sale. They can be filled with soil and make small holes for aerial roots. Large plants must be grown in volumetric pots and tubs.
